I picked this up on the Vine Programme and these pickleball balls are a solid addition to any outdoor game day. The set comes with 12 bright yellow balls that are easy to spot on the court and feel sturdy enough for regular play. They bounce well, don’t wobble too much, and hold up nicely even after a few knocks around, which makes them great for practise sessions or casual matches with friends. Having a big pack means you don’t run out straight away, which is handy when you’re losing a ball here and there in the grass. All in all, they do exactly what you want pickleballs to do and make getting a game going really easy.

I got a box of twelve BOOMCLAP outdoor pickleballs because the single tube our club lends out is never enough for a busy Saturday. The balls arrive in a neat cardboard carton and the bright, almost fluorescent yellow immediately stands out against the tarmac. Every ball measures 73 mm in diameter and weighs 26 g, with forty drilled holes to keep its flight true outside. The manufacturer claims the plastic remains flexible down to minus thirty Celsius, and so far the biting mornings have not proved them wrong. The vivid yellow also helps when one shoots off towards the car park at dusk; I can usually spot it on the first glance. After six sessions the bounce is still clean and predictable, and none of the shells has warped or cracked. They are fractionally lighter than the club’s usual Onix balls, which means a strong gust pushes them about a little more than I would like. They meet the written requirements of the USAPA, although they are not actually listed on the body’s approved roster, so I shall keep them for knock ups and family games rather than league fixtures. Having a dozen balls in the bag cuts down the time wasted on ball hunting mid rally, and the box sits tidily in the car boot next to the dog lead. For the money I think they are good value for training sessions and casual play, but I will still pack a set of certified balls when competition points are on the line.

This item was supplied to me free of charge through Amazon’s Vine program; however, this in no way influences my review, all items I request are products that I have a use for or will use and the reviews I then submit are intended to be both impartial and informative for potential purchaser. Not that much you can really say about these, they work great and are easy to see whilst bashing them around the court and have a good bounce. Was pleasantly surprised when they came up on vine and jumped at the chance as you can never have enough spare balls as once you stand on these, they are done and only worth throwing in the bin.

This is a set of outdoor pickleball balls. 40 holes (as standard for outdoor) and standard size - 73mm. These meet the USAPA requirements on the face of it but are not on the USAPA approved ball list that I can see. i.e. they are USAPA compliant but not approved as far as I can tell. They are all yellow (they usually come in orange, yellow or green). The quality appears to be good - no issues with these at all - play like and feel like our usual balls (which are USAPA approved ones). £24.99 is relatively expensive for USAPA compliant balls (but non-approved) but is far cheaper than some of the proper approved ones. Yet if you search on Amazon there are 12-packs of approved ones cheaper than this (OZO as an example), which makes these look optimistically priced if you ask me. Overall 4 stars from me.

Really enjoy these to play

These pickle balls seemed heavier and thicker than most I’ve played with. The surface also didn’t hold up for much more than an hour of use.

I use these balls for drilling and they work out just fine.

We are constantly loosing and damaging our pickleballs. I was looking for a set at a reasonable price. This was the perfect option. These balls work great on the court, and they were a good price for multiple balls. Great purchase!
