I used it in a hay cage that is inside a barn so no sun or water exposure and the soft liner must be biodegradable becasue within less than a year the soft part stared peeling away from the plastic tarp. It made a big mess inside my hay cage because it basically disintegrates in your hand and it’s hard to clean up. I finally had to peel big strips of it all away from the plastic to avoid more of a mess.
