TRX-4M 4X4 Crawler with Ford Bronco Body

Welp, I scrolled to a reel on instagram of one of these and impulse bought one immediately. Safe to say I don’t regret my purchase at all One has turned into 3, and lots of parts. These things are awesome. The aftermarket parts are plentiful, lots of modifications you can do, and they function very well out of the box. For the price, you really can’t beat them. I’d buy one again (actually plan on buying a HT version next, as I don’t have one yet). Some say they have problems with the steering servo, but so far my original servo has lived through 2 other models after this one and is still going strong. Great job on these Traxxas!

Husband loved this for Christmas!! Looks just like his and climbs over everything! So fun for the whole family!

Lo que más me ha gustado es como ha respondido el equipo de soporte ante cualquier pregunta que ha surgido en el transcurso del uso de la Bronco TrX4. A parte de esto las piezas de repuesto son fácil de adquirir. A mi hijo le ha encantado este regalo.

Pretty good for right out of the box. Very tight turning radius. Only problem was a blue one was shipped not a black one

The chassis and body are amazing. However, you’ll probably want to upgrade the motor and servo soon. For the motor, something like an Injora would give you more power and smoother performance. The stock servo works okay, but it won’t last long—so it’s better to order a replacement ahead of time. It’s far from the best value in terms of price-to-performance if you want a capable stock 1/18 crawler, but the chassis performs well, and the body looks fantastic. 近年、Amazonには低価格で楽しい中華系RCが溢れていて、ハイラックスやディフェンダー、ラングラーなどのスケールモデルがプロポやバッテリー込み１万円前後で購入できる時代です。 どれもコスパは悪くないですし、サードパーティー製のパーツも豊富なので、自分で改造する楽しさもあります。 TRAXXASはアメリカのRCメーカーで、昨今の為替相場も手伝ってすっかり高級RCの価格帯になってしまっていて、人気の1/10スケールは日本で購入しようと思うと10万円がポンと飛んでいくのでなかなか選択肢に入らないかと思います。 そんな中で同社定番の1/10 TRX-4を性能そのまま1/18にしたのがTRX-4Mで、ブロンコやディフェンダーがラインナップされています。 この「TRX-4の性能そのまま」というのがどれほどのものか、所有している方にはよく分かると思いますが、このメーカーのマシンはRC界のG-SHOCKです。 どんな悪路でも、どんな天候でも、何なら水の中に完全水没しても、バッテリーが切れるまでひたすら走り続けます。踏まれても転落しても壊れず、豊富な純正オプションで更なるモンスター化も可能で、もはや適無しと言えるほどのマシンです。 これが箱出しの状態でのスペックなのが恐ろしいところです。 例えば１万円前後で購入できる売れ線の1/12サイズのRCを購入しようと考えていて、値段がその５倍近くするこのTRX-4Mなど眼中にも無いという方に言えるのは、それらのマシンの５倍楽しく、５倍頑丈で５倍ガチです。 つまりこの価格でも納得できるということです。 シャーシ設計、モーターやギア、タイヤ一つに至るまで、手抜かりがありません。 最小旋回半径、つまりタイヤの舵角の鋭さに驚くと思います。 例えば同社の巨大なK-10ハイトレイルでも、Amazonで売れ筋のDEE〇Cのどのマシンより旋回半径が小さく、絶妙な小回りが利きます。 私のブロンコには純正のLEDライトアップパーツを組み込んでいますが、このキットだけでも安いラジコンセットが買えてしまう値段です。 そのLEDの光り方一つとっても、実車感が想像を超えてきます。ヘッドライトもテールライトも、このキットを組み込んでこの満足感なら文句なしというレベルです。 ガチのクローラーやトレイルRC楽しみたいという方なら、安いものを何台も買って後悔するくらいなら最初からTRAXXASにしてほしいです。 私は現在TRX-4のシボレー K10ハイトレイルをメインに使っており、1/18は初めてのスケールだったのですが、小さな部屋の中でも楽しく遊べるサイズ感、それでいて改造しまくった1/12中華RCが登れない、下れないあらゆる障害を難なく乗り越えていく様にほれぼれしています。 まさに小さなモンスターです。 本当に楽しい一台です。
