I had to put this cat tree together by myself. While I was initially intimidated, once I pulled everything out of the securely packaged box (the parts were tightly packed in a plastic bag that was in a heavy, wax-coated box) and checked each piece off the list to make sure it was all there, I realized it wouldn't be that bad. Didn't even need any tools. They supply the necessary allen wrench. It took me roughly an hour to assemble with no problems. This thing is really tall. I had to leave out the next to last section at the top because it was going to hit my ceiling. I left out the one section and continued on with the very top, adjusting the rods as directed, now the very top is about 2 inches from the ceiling. It seems very sturdy, the package weighed over 35 lbs. It doesn't seem quite as stable as I'd have liked, but that could just be my floors (we just moved here, so I'm just not positive if it's the tree or the floor). But the cats have been all over it, jumping, running, and climbing - without knocking it over, so... that's a bonus! They love the little corner cubby and the hammocks, which they usually sleep in one together. One of them (I suspect Spartacus) tore one of the little fluffy balls off the sting in less than 72 hours. But they do have a spare in the box for just such occasions. They also include 2 spare carpeted "tubes", which is also nice... just in case. The desert cactus design is cute, in my opinion. Overall, it was definitely worth the price and I would purchase it again if I needed another one. Despite the ball (he's a pretty aggressive kitten in the playing world) I still give it 5 stars.

This cat tree came in a surprisingly small box and construction was easy to complete! I did not measure my ceiling height so I was actually a little short for the full extension rod, but I was able to use only one rod and a little bit of a cardboard buffer to make it fit snug. It looks adorable! My cat isn't that much of a climber, I thought this product might help give him an opportunity. But my cat's afraid of getting higher than three tiers up on this cat tree. It does wobble a bit the higher you get. And as a few reviewers also mentioned, it's really easy to get claws stuck in the material used to cover the whole tree. The rope-wrapped scratching post at the bottom is awesome, though, and he loves to attack that, and having it be supported floor-to-ceiling does seem to make the scratching post extra durable. For the money, it's amazing. My cat has yet to sit on any of the platforms for any period of time without my company, and so I don't know if he finds it comfortable or would enjoy sleeping on it. For tree cats, I think this is a perfect, if slightly flimsy, piece of cat furniture. For a ground cat, it's a nice thing to look at and use the lower levels.

This cat tree is so adorable! The pink and green is very vibrant and makes it to be such a fun piece to decorate around! After installation the cat tree seems to be very sturdy and tons of places for cats to scratch and lounge. Putting it together only took about 30 minutes to an hour and had super simple instructions to follow. My three cats love it already!!

We have a tiny apartment with really tall ceilings. To maximize space, I thought a really tall cat tree would be the way to go but as it turns out, there aren't many 10ft floor to ceiling cat trees on the market. There are two on Amazon, to be exact. The other one was $200 so goth kitty tree it was. The cat tree itself is pretty cool! It's a fun piece of furniture and the cat LOVES how tall it is. We had a hard time keeping him from trying to scale it while we were trying to put it up, so it's safe to say it gets a positive review from him. It's pretty self explanatory to get together, just pay attention to which screws go where and you'll be fine. I wish the poles screwed together a little more securely, but I expected a little bit of wobble from so many pieces. The reason why it gets 3 stars is because the flimsy plastic noodle that's supposed to keep this thing from falling is the most terrifying, wobbly piece of crap and if you intend to use it for its full length as we did, it'll be rocking all over the place every time your cat jumps on it. The tension rod is two thin pieces of PVC like plastic you have to connect with another piece of plastic if you want the full length. It also doesn't retract all the way, hence the ugly piece of paper stuck to the ceiling, we had to slide something that wasn't sticky silicone between the top of it and the ceiling and use a mallet to tap it into place because it won't retract enough to go under the ceiling. Our kitten is pretty small for a year old cat but he's rambunctious and gets crazy zoomies. I took it down I was afraid it was going to snap and come crashing down it was moving so much. Because it's only the rod I have a problem with, I decided to try and get crafty and replace it with a sturdier piece of PVC but it's a hair length too wide because this pipe doesn't have a standard size. It's just barely skinnier than a half inch so the replacement I got won't fit. It's a bummer because we think it's a pretty cool cat toy, hopefully we can find a solution.

Our cats are loving this tree! It’s our first cat tree ever, even though we’ve been cat people our whole lives. We decided on this one because we liked the cactus theme and felt like it had lots of options and ways for the cats to enjoy it. The cactus “nubs” are soft and filled with stuffing, and while this gives less options for a cat’s footing while climbing, I’ve found our cats like playing with them. You just have to show them they’re soft, wiggle them around a bit. We arranged our shelves a little differently than the photo so that our one cat would have a large shelf at the top. This worked out because our other chunky cat actually likes the hammock bag and the string ball as well as the scratching posts. The chunky cat is notoriously lazy, even when we try to play with him, but he actually enjoys expending some energy playing on the lower levels of the cat tree. This thing is tall! Our ceilings are 8ft high, so the support rod only needed about 6-8 inches. The support rod is spring loaded and comes with 2 extensions for taller ceilings. The spring is nice and firm, so it will grip the ceiling well. Just make sure the tree is completely straight for best results. Also, the support L-bracket really makes this thing stable. I had to drill a different hole since we arranged our shelves differently, but I would highly recommend using the L-bracket any way you can. This tree doesn’t take up much floor space and really maximizes the vertical space. You can adjust the shelves however you want. We made sure each shelf was atleast touching one corner to the wall for extra stability. There’s something entertaining for every cat! It’s very safe, the scratching posts are great, and it’s pretty lightweight for its size. You CANNOT beat it for the price. And the style/colors actually make it feel like part of the home.
