Fraise Fouettée Spray Eau de Parfum - Vanilla, Strawberry, Sugar Perfume Notes -1 fl oz (30 ml)

I was absolutely blown away by how spot on this fragrance was, usually with scents when they say something like "smells like strawberry milk" they're not actually talking about a 1:1 portrayal of that scent, there's always additional notes or things added in that I understand always serve a purpose but usually also have the effect of changing the scent profile from what was originally promised. That is definitely not the case with Fraise Fouette, it only smells like strawberry, sugar, and whipped cream. I was a bit leery of it and afraid that a fragrance with such a brief profile would have to be absolutely perfectly executed in order to be worthwhile, but my anxiety was unfounded because it is perfectly executed simplicity. Le Mond Gourmand proves you don't need ten billion notes jammed in a bottle to create a wonderful perfume. It is also exactly what I anticipated size wise for the money, I wasn't under the impression that $25 USD would be getting me a humongous bottle and I was right: it's an average 30ml bottle but it is still a good price for the amount of perfume. I also loved that the bottle is truly filled all the way to the very top where the metal is clamped around the opening to secure the atomizer. Some brands only fill it to about the top edge and the entire top is technically only filled with excess air, which feels like stinginess whenever brands do that so I appreciate a truly full bottle of fragrance. The projection of Fraise Fouette is also extremely good, I sprayed it roughly an hour ago now and I can still catch whiffs of it around myself just as I'm going about my day and others have commented on the sweet smell I have lingering around me. It has better projection than some of the more expensive perfumes in my collection, which is also a huge plus and proves brands can do well performing fragrances without charging ridiculous prices for it. I've also noticed the scent hasn't broken down with time either, with many perfumes as time goes on their notes will wear down to reveal additional layers like a similar strawberry perfume for example may open with a bright strawberry then after about a half hour you may only actually smell vanilla or sugar on yourself but none of the initial strawberry note. This perfume doesn't seem to do that, the simple formula retains all it's notes from the very first spray which I quite like and think is very unique given the current trend of having more complex fragrance profiles. It's also very wearable for every day, and today it's 86 degrees fahrenheit outside so I was able to test how the profile wears in high heat. I was nervous it would take on a more rancid quality, given how milk usually smells in heat, but I'm surprised that the outside temperatures don't seem to have any effect on the overall scent integrity. I am curious about how it performs in colder weather, but I'll have to wait several months to find out. Overall, this is an incredibly worthwhile purchase if you're searching for that perfectly sweet milky strawberry scent!

I love this smell! I’m getting married this April and really wanted to smell like strawberries, because of spring. This perfume doesn’t just smell like strawberries but has notes of creaminess as well. I also have a lot of sensitivity and sometimes allergies to a lot of perfume but I have absolutely no reaction to this. I was a little bit wary because a lot of “strawberry” products either smell like cough syrup or chemicals but this actually smells good with no hints of chemicals. It reminds me a little bit of how my old strawberry shortcake dolls hair smelt which is amazing! I was a little worried that the spray nozzle wouldn’t work because it was delivered at like 11 at night and I got it the next morning when it was basically frozen but it started working great once it warmed up! All in all I really like this perfume!

First off the perfume is not clear. I got the Fraise Foutteé. I was so hoping i was going to love it. It literally looks like pink strawberry milk. Its off-putting. Ive never seen a perfume that looked like pink chalky milk of magnesia. And it barely smells..has no projection and is gone 10 min after you put it on. Smells like a faint strawberry chapstick. Good for a pre-teen but not for a grown woman. Will be returning this garbage.

Smells great. Exactly like strawberry milk. The scent is very sweet but faint. Though it doesn't last all too long. 15-20 minutes give or take. And that's on skin and clothing. I did notice that the number one ingredient for this one was water, so that probably plays a part in the strength and duration of the scent. It sprays a decent amount for application, but I've only sprayed it a couple times and it's already a 1/5 way down the bottle. Personally, I wouldn't buy it for the price again. I thought it'd be worth it since, the reviews seemed great, but can't trust all of them until you give it a shot yourself. Overall, the only thing I'm disappointed about is the longevity of the scent.

Smells good but you smell that artificial strawberry lipgloss that you ate as a kid

Sweet and soft, but still pronounced and lasts a long time. Great for layering too, I tried it with L’Occitane’s Cherry Blossom EDT and it’s beautiful. A fun fruity scent that isn’t super vanilla-y. The bottle is chic and I love the color of the liquid.

I wanted to like this perfume so bad but it smells like cheap Disney princess lipgloss from the early 2000’s. The kind with the fat glitter chunks in them that exfoliate the life out of your lips when you smack them. It smells like strawberry car air freshener from the gas station. Cheap kiddie lipgloss from Limited Too. Like L’oreal Kids Strawberry Shampoo, the one that said “No Tears” on it. I was expecting a slightly-sweet, fresh scent of strawberry milk, but this is just thick, syrupy, obnoxious strawberry in the worst way possible. Zero creaminess or milkiness. It hangs in the air like a heavy cloud. It has almost a plasticky smell? I should’ve listened to the review that described it as chapstick-scented that reminds them of being sick in the winter because that’s so accurate. The smell is giving me a headache. If you wanna be punched in the face by cheap, plasticky childhood nostalgia, buy this. If you’re looking for something delicate, light and creamy like strawberry milk, look elsewhere. I need an ibuprofen.

It smells very soft, sweet, and feminine. It’s a creamy strawberry milk scent that isn’t too sweet or overpowering. It does have slight hint of a bubblegum scent, but it does ruin the fragrance. It lasts about 4-5 hours, which isn’t bad, especially for the price. It doesn’t smell cheap or overbearing which I like. If you want to smell like a strawberry milkshake on a budget I definitely recommend this. I haven’t experienced any leakage so far, the bottle seems to be good quality.
