Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, Vol. 11 Review: Such a good story. - If you haven’t read or watched this yet, you’re seriously missing out. This is an incredibly good story from start to finish. The writing, characters, and overall development make it easy to get invested, and it’s one of those series that stays with you even after you stop watching or reading. The story is so well done that I could honestly go on and on about it. Every part feels meaningful, and the progression keeps you wanting more. A new season has also just come out, which makes it the perfect time to jump in if you haven’t already. Review: Had me crying a bit ngl. - Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is actually way better than I expected. Chill fantasy vibes but hits in the feels… Following this elf on a slow, emotional journey after her crew’s gone. Art’s gorgeous, story’s deep, and lowkey makes you think about life and friendships. Totally hooked.

Must read / watch
What an amazing series. The character arcs are beautiful and it goes from cozy to crazy by the end.

Frieren is great, but shipping needs to take better care
Spoiler-Free review: Art style is amazing and on par with the previous editions. The story continues off of the last volume and its ending makes me want to learn Japanese just so I can read the next volume asap (as the english translation isn't out yet) Book came slightly bent but thats a shipper issue not publisher.

Amazing Volume but Ch. 107 needs color pages!
This volume is amazing as it finishes up the Macht arc and moves into The Goddess Statue. I'm not sure if this is fair, but Ch. 107 absolutely needed to have color for the double page spread like it was in Japan. It's such a huge moment, and I feel like the missing color ripped a lot of the emotion out of it. Edit: Turns out Viz refuses to print color pages for manga volumes. That's incredibly disappointing.

A great volume for the series
A long and fulfilling battle followed by a return of old friends with an ages old dragon in between. This is such a great series.

Volume 11 delivered some of the most emotionally impactful moments in the entire series so far, with stunning artwork that perfectly captures both the action sequences and those heartfelt character interactions that make Frieren so unique. I'm already eagerly waiting for volume 12 to see where the story goes next - this manga is absolutely phenomenal!

As an older reader I’ve enjoyed the pacing of the story and my young son has as well, which makes us a distinct demographic from what the book has been aimed at. I also found myself enjoying this series with the wonder and enthusiasm when I used to read established American and British comics many years ago, an energy which I feel has sadly mostly been lost by those publishers. In any event, this is definitely a series I’m extremely glad to have stumbled across. I’d recommend it heartily to any fantasy, manga or young readers alike. I’m not going to speak too much about it to older adults as such interest might unfortunately might be misconstrued.
