Surprised Me With How Well It Works
Just bought a new house with a smaller yard, so I needed something more practical than my old riding mower. I honestly didn’t expect much from a cordless push mower, but this one performed way better than I thought it would. The 80V brushless motor has plenty of power, even when the grass was a bit longer in spots, and it handled everything smoothly without stalling. Charge holds up really well—I didn’t feel rushed or have to stop mid-job—and the self-propelled feature makes it easy to get up inclines without much effort. The build quality feels solid too, and it’s heavier than a lightweight push mower, which actually makes it feel more durable. My only minor nitpicks: the foam handle seems like it could wear over time, and the safety “double-on” system takes a second to get used to, but neither is a dealbreaker. Overall, a solid mower that makes a smaller yard feel like a breeze. Would definitely recommend for anyone downsizing from a riding mower.

Great Electric Mower!!
I feel very good about this purchase. Easy getting it out of the box. Fast setting up. Instructions “pamphlets” needed to be together, and they were too small. Basically they need to explain the setting up process Better. Started right up and it had plenty of power. My yard is somewhat small, The battery usage was exceptional, only one indicator light was used out of 4. The cut was very good. The Self-Propelled was very good especially the controls on the handle. I always thought I was a gasoline man, this Electric mower certainly held up to the gas engines. Mower was very quiet. My biggest Complaint is the way you backup. The first few times the rear wheels would lockup, only for a brief second. So I learned just to briefly pause for a second, then it rolled back effortlessly. My first cut, I chose to use the bagger option. I couldn’t figure out why the bag wasn’t filling. When I finished I removed the bag and found the plastic block for Mulcing was blocking the opening into the bag. Again I blame this on the poor instructions. All in all I REALLY LIKE this mower!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Great, powerful mower.
Bought the 80 v with 4ah battery, self propelled. Super easy to start out of the box, no assembly. Folding handle is a nice feature for storing and especially cleaning. I have a half acre of mixed weeds, mostly grass, some mustard etc. unfortunately I let it get out of control this year, knee high in areas, my riding mower stopped working last year and I dragged my feet choosing this mower. Soooo. It performed great. Lots of power. Stalled twice due to thick grass but so does my riding mower. I developed a technique of tilting back at 45 degrees for high grass then went over it forward and back. Most areas over 8 inches needed mowing back and forth, moving along at six feet at a time, didn't use the self propelled feature at all. The mower is very light. Under six inches no problem at all. The battery lasted about 30 minutes, charged in under an hour . Because of high thick weeds I had to do this five times for my half acre even without using self propel which I presume saved battery life but if mowing grass under six inches (next time!) I expect it would do most of the half acre on a charge. I'm 68 And retired so I didn't mind waiting for the battery to recharge. Definitely recommend. Consider an extra battery.

Nearly Perfect and Worth the Money
I've had the mower for several months now and I'm impressed with how well it cuts, and how long the battery lasts. It's quieter than a gas mower and it's quick if you set it on a faster speed (I can't keep up with it if it's too fast!). I can mow 2-3 times before needing a re-charge, which is great. My only area for improvement is I wish it were front wheel drive so it can be tipped back on its rear wheels to easily change direction like past gas mowers I've had. It's a little tough to make 90-degree turns, and to back up because you have to disengage the motor and give it a second to release then back up, but you get used to it. Other than that it's fantastic and I would recommend buying it. It's definitely worth it--especially since there's no buying gas, no smelly garage, and you can store it standing up to save space. I hose it down after each mowing to keep it clean, then stand it up and let it dry. Easy.

Exceeds expectations
Cuts really well, mulching is excellent. The drive is a little slow to kick in and not exceptionally powerful. It’s also a little slow to disengage when u release the levers. It’s also a little louder than I expected, but not excessive. Maneuvers super easy and it’s light weight is a treat compared to a traditional gas mower. The battery makes it through the whole yard (approx 12,000 sqft) with only using the drive on about a quarter of the property. All in all, it’s exceeded my expectations and I’m really happy with it.

First impressions, I’m impressed: update
Delivered packed and protected well. Assembly was minimal and easy - pull the rubber plugs out of the arms and attach the control bar. I’m comparing this to my nearly 10 year old sears Briggs & Stratton, that still runs. The green works is lighter, has a faster self propel(which is so nice), quieter, and cuts just as well, if not better. I have a patch of grass that grows thicker that bogged it down, does the same to my Briggs & Stratton. When I put it in turbo mode it ran through it fine. It took a minute to get used to the rear wheel self-propel but that’s all. I also appreciate how you can flip it on its end to clean out, much easier than a gas mower. Overall, I’m impressed at how well this cut and how easy it was to maneuver. I cut my front hard and still had 3 bars (my front yard is double from what the picture shows). Hopefully it continues to perform this well. I’ll address my review if it drops in performance. After one mow, 5 stars. Update: I had a few large branches in part of my back yard so the grass and weeds grew pretty tall, calf to knee high. Mower surprisingly did well. Gotta have it on turbo and can’t use self propelled, seems to bog it down with taller grass. But it ran right through it. First thing in the morning and the grass was wet too. Being electric it’s also easy to tip it over and clean the wet grass off. The bag is on the small side, but still happy with it overall.

It was time to replace our gas mower. I saw this battery powered unit, and after reading a bunch of reviews, I decided to buy it. When I compared it to other units, this one had the better battery and it was wider. These were things that I didn’t realize until after I shopped around. Today we assembled it and mowed our large corner lot. The lawnmower works like a charm. I love the fact that it is quieter than our old gas mower, it doesn’t require any fussing around with oil, gas and spark plugs, and it is environmentally friendly. This new mower is worth every penny. I am very happy with it. It starts on a dime and is easy to use. Even if we were to just use it for a year, it would pay for itself.

First off, I have no issues with the mower. It's a great machine, with a lot of power, and a decent battery life. But I can't give it more than 3 stars because of my experience. I was in the market for a new mower, and this one seemed to fit the bill. Not only that, but it was nicely discounted (I think close to $180 IIRC). The only issue was that it was out of stock. Normally I would have found something else, but the seller was listed as Greenworks, and I couldn't pass up that discount. Since it allowed me to order anyway, with the promise I'd receive an email with a deliver date once it became in stock once more, I went for it. Two weeks later it was back in stock, but after an additional week I got no delivery date email. That's when I contacted Amazon customer service who reached out to the seller. She then informed me there was a delay at the warehouse. Okay, fine. A few days later I reached out to Greenworks CS myself. According to them there was no record of an order from me, and they asked for the order #. I responded with the order #, and a screenshot with all the details. Silence. I followed up the next day asking for guidance. Silence. At this point close to a month had passed since my original order and my lawn was getting out of control, so I cancelled the order, and sent in another order for the same mower. Keep in mind, this was now at full price, no discount. After 5 weeks since the initial order, I finally got my mower. Like I said, it works great, but losing that discount sucks, and the wasted time trying to get CS to help me out was rough as well. While I don't think the CS lady was lying about not having a record of the order, her lack of helpfulness after I provided the details really sticks out.

This is a good machine, easy to handle and to start, but the suction is very poor and way weaker than conventional combustion engine lawn mowers. If I would walk the paces as mowing by a combustion engine, the most debris could not be picked up, even if I would walk like dating there were still some left behind significantly

We ventured into the cordless electric lawn mower back in 2013. At the time I was very skeptical of moving away from gas so I bought a cheap black and decker. Although somewhat underpowered we were overall impressed and so, when the battery started to go a couple years ago I decided that we would spend a decent amount of money on a good one. After doing a ton of research I finally settled on the Greenworks Pro 80V system and purchased in the Spring of 2021 so have used for a season and a half now. In terms of power and battery longevity on a cut, this mower has been great. I am very impressed in those regards. However, when bagging the grass, which is almost always, it leaves a trail of grass along the right side of the mower. I have cut when it barely needs to be cut, left it longer, cut when it's very dry, cut when it's a little wet. Nothing seems to change much. It definitely leaves more grass when when the grass is longer but that's about the only change. Unfortunately my cheap 10 year old Black and Decker worked much better in this regard. This has become so frustrating that I am ready to go back to a gas mower after all these years of having an electric. When I had contacted the company last summer regarding this issue, they sent me a new blade thinking that was the problem. However, it did not fix it.
