Pest Expert Carpet Moth Killer Super Fumer Smoke Bombs Strong Treatment 6 x 11g – Max Strength Moth Bomb, Fast-Acting for Effective Control, Professional Strength for Approved Amateur Use

Recently moved into a house that appeared to be quite seriously infested with either carpet or clothes moths. I used these in every carpeted room a couple of weeks ago and haven't seen a single one since. I will repeat the process in a couple of weeks in case any new ones have hatched. Very easy to use - and effective. The smell lingers for a while, but is worth it!

Expensive day after lockdown when I re-visited my suits and found I had to bin 6 due to moth damage. I’ve done 4 things.. thorough clean through including carpet shampoo etc, fumigated using these smoke bombs, put stick up repellent in wardrobes and put the remaining suits in plastic zip up covers. Super Fumers —> I felt a bit uncomfortable setting fire to something and leaving it in a closed room.. so I filled a large shallow bowl with water and placed the fumer on an upturned small bowl in the centre so if it fell over or melted it would drop into the water. On lightning there is a few sparks but nothing too dramatic.. the fumer then smoulders for a minute and releases smoke into the closed room. I can confirm that the plastic fumer melts through at the side, I’d never place these directly onto a carpet.. The room was filled with smoke.. didn’t smell especially chemically.. more like a bonfire. I left the room sealed for a couple of hours and then aired it. If you’re doing a bedroom I’d do it in the morning so the smell has died off by the time you go to bed. I haven’t seen moths in the room since I did it ..and I was seeing them daily before.

Used 2 of these for a carpet moth infestation. My in laws have also used the same brand with great effect. Used a plate underneath to protect the carpet. Followed the instructions carefully and haven’t seen a moth for 2 months now so looks like the have gone. Great value and works a treat. I used 2 for our large bedroom

Used to clear cluster flies from our loft space. Worked a treat and wiped them all out. Used also in a bedroom where we had a problem with clothes moths. Again, did the trick. The 1st world problems of living adjacent to fields.

I tried these, and whilst they appear to work, the smoke smell lasted over a week. I moved on to the aerosol versions instead, which have zero smell.

Great product, easy to use…Just remember you need a lighter to ignite these as no me ruin of that when you buy them.

These larger size fumigators proved to be effective against the moths. However, you may need to use them more than once as it only seems to kill live moths, so eggs can still hatch. The other thing to note is that they will set off smoke alarms. I turned the mains circuit to our alarms off, but forgot they have battery back up. Doh!

Didn't work for me Followed the instructions exactly, closed all windows and doors, lit the fuse and waited over night Slightly bad smell the following morning and I removed the used bomb. I thought I'd put a sticky flea trap lamp in the room just in case To my horror later that day I had two new visitors to the sticky flea trap Not a good product in my experience
