A very pleasant tasting coffee for the price, I was pleasantly surprised! I use these for my evening brew to avoid the caffeine but taste as good as my regular pods. The only difficulty I occasionally have is opening the pouches they come in - a pair of scissors usually counters that problem though.

Best ever decaf coffee capsule! I don’t normally review products but I had to because this coffee is fantastic! Rich dark flavour with good cream on top. Absolutely the very best decaf I have ever had! Excellent value for money.

Borbone’s decaf is surprisingly bold for a caffeine-free coffee. Many decafs taste thin or “watery,” but Borbone keeps a classic Italian profile. I have bought this product multiple times and I am always pleased. One of Borbone’s standout features is its crema, and the decaf version still performs well. Good, dense crema for a decaf. Works well in espresso machines. Personally I have a Nespresso machine and works perfectly. It is ideally for people who want a strong, traditional Italian espresso flavor—without caffeine. So someone who likes a lighter coffee may not like this. If you like a bold espresso that still feels authentic to the Italian tradition, it’s an excellent choice. If you prefer delicate, nuanced flavors, you may find it too intense.

Due to the very poor quality of the pods plastic and low grade foil. I tried 5-10 times using these pods to make a dek expresso. In the end it damaged my nespresso coffee machine so much and I have had to buy a new machine. The Borbone aluminium pods are good, Palermo, Napoli and Torino and are recommended.

Decaf version pungent - hence the individual wrappers. The pods are plastic with a light foil seal. There is a definite strong aroma to live with - if you open up a few you’ll soon know it. Flavour wise - reminds me of semi stale Monmouth house blend.. not that pleasant. I won’t be rushing to buy this again ! L’Or decaf definitely is my go to.
