very comfortable, compliant shoes
These were a departure for me in shoe style in that they are loafers - and have no laces. They feel like they grip the foot very lightly, and don't have the surety that laces give. I think they would still be secure after they break in and the sole becomes more flexible.I think the fit could actually be improved with more arch support, which would tighten the grip on the cuniforms at the top of the foot. I'm also saying that there is very little arch support in this shoe, and I typically use at least medium-profile arch supports in running shoes (whenever I can replace the standard insoles). You could replace the insoles in these, but as the footbed is glued in it will take some work.I also have a slight gripe with the toe-box width, as these arena bit narrow up front. Many shoes are like this and there is no fault per se in the design, but I've grown fond of wide toe boxes and think they're important for walking comfort and orthopedics.Overall, the shoe is actually quite comfortable, even before breaking in. The basic design and suppleness of the leather will make these an easy shoe to wear. The leather is full-grain, thick and quite soft - it uses very good quality materials in general, but the upper leather is downright luxurious.I was not previously acquainted with Bruno Magli but will pay attention to them when I shop for dress shoes again. They seem to be at least as good quality as Allen Edmonds or Johnston & Murphy.

What’s so special about them?
These are very nice shoes and go with a lot of outfits. Pretty well made and have nice wooden bottoms. They are comfortable and the fit is true to size. Not worth the price at all though only reason why they are expensive is because they are a designer brand...only get if they are discounted at a reasonable price because you can find this brand and similar styles much cheaper at your local mall stores.

Timeless Style with a Premium Feel
The leather is rich, soft to the touch and has a subtle texture that gives the shoe depth and character. The dark brown shade is versatile and elegant, perfect for dressing up or adding polish to a more casual outfit. Definitely worth the price.Wearing them feels just as luxurious as they look. The fit is snug yet comfortable with just enough flexibility for all-day wear. These loafers have that classic refinement that makes a quiet statement of style and quality. An excellent choice if you're aiming for elevated simplicity.

Style and Comfort That Make Every Step Count
The Bruno Magli Men’s Trieste Loafers in Black Cervo are some of the best shoes I’ve ever owned. Right out of the box, they look sharp and classy—perfect for dressing up without trying too hard. The leather feels soft and high-quality, and you can tell it’s made to last.I got a size 12, and the fit is just right. The slip-on design makes them super easy to wear, and they feel really comfortable even after hours on your feet. The inside is smooth and supportive, so there's no pinching or breaking-in period like with other dress shoes. These loafers work great for both formal events and everyday outfits. Whether I’m wearing dress pants or jeans, they always pull the whole look together. If you want shoes that combine luxury, comfort, and style, these are definitely worth checking out.

Well made dress shoes, narrower side
These Italian-made dress shoes are perfect for my husband. They can easily be dressed up or worn with a more casual outfit. They fit a bit snug, but he expects they'll stretch with wear. The quality is beautiful and seems built to last if properly cared for.The shoebox arrived damaged, likely during shipping, which was a little disappointing, considering the price and if you're planning to gift them. However, the included dust bag was a nice bonus.

High end shoes with a high end brand that meets expectations
Bruno Magli is a high end Italian fashion brand. Sometimes these brands start out as one thing (bespoke design, attention to detail, etc.) that earn a reputation then they trade on that reputation with products that slide from the original standard. I'm happy to report that Bruno Magli is no such brand. Their reputation for well made, fashionable, functional footwear is well earned. This latest release appears to uphold those standards.Pros- Fit is perfect right out of the box (M13). Concern was they would be too small and narrow from a European company- Finish detail is impeccable, aligned with expectations- Materials are top quality- Design is classic and classy- Comfortable for an elevated heel shoeCons- Suede will require more regular maintenance- Long term durability a question- Only a great value when compared to ultra luxury (which has significant margin of diminishing returns)Recommended

Perfect fit and magnificent color and texture
If you close your eyes as you open the box, you'll be greeted with a distinctive scent of fine leather that would have you believe you're sitting in an upscale men's store. That's the only way I can describe my first impression of these shoes, and everything else about them is equally impressive. There was no break-in period required, as they felt soft and comfortable from the moment I tried them on. The blue suede looks magnificent and the texture feels amazing. I typically wear size 9 and these shoes were true to size, being just snug enough to not feel loose.Materials and construction quality are superb! Keep in mind that these are very much premium shoes, with a price to match, but they are worth every penny for that unmistakable Italian comfort and style. Highly recommended.
