There are no unusual smells. Installation/setup: Use in recipes as wheat flour. Final thoughts: This flour worked well as a regular wheat flour in my bread machine. I used it to make wheat bread. The bread came out as expected, with a good flavor and texture. The flour worked well in my yeast bread, tasting fresh and clean with no grit or unpleasant smells or flavors. The freshness date is December 2025 leaving me with plenty of time to use it up, as I got it March 2024. I like this and I’m glad I got it. ⭐️1 star - I don't recommend it at all, poor quality. ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars - I don't recommend it, it has multiple faults, or a very high price. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 stars - It's passable, It has some faults but the quality is ok for what it is. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4 stars - Product quite acceptable, it does what it promises. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5 stars - Product that I totally recommend.

The TAJ Signature Sharbati Atta, 10 lbs. (Chakki Atta - Stone Ground), 100% Whole Wheat Flour, Chappati Flour, seems to be of premium quality. It was packaged in a very nice bag. We used it to make our first roti using the provided cooking instructions on the bag. Though it didn't puff like it should have, it tasted very delicious. We enjoyed the flavor and the texture. With practice, I think we could only get better and better roti next time. Not only can we use this wheat flour to make roti, but it can also be used in other recipes such as bread, pancakes, waffles, cookies, etc. We are very happy with this wheat flour and would highly recommend checking it out if you are looking for a premium-quality one.

A product of India the Sharbati atta variety of whole wheat flour is known for having a high protein and gluten content which in bread making helps create a chewy texture. The flour contains no preservatives or whiteners and the 10 pound bag arrived in perfect condition. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in March 2024 the Best By date is 21 months in the future but dates will vary. Excellent.
