Better Than Lego. Here's Why
This Steampunk Railway Station is an intricate, gorgeous display piece, rife with tiny details--the barista station is really clever--and a ton of gears and quasi-Victorian industrial greeblies to give it a steampunk vibe. This is a big model, with two flanking sections that slide outward to make it even wider. Beyond sheer size, it's the color choices and extensive use of brilliant metallic gold pieces that make it visually pop on the shelf. The suspended train and car, in black, hunter green, and gold livery, creates contrast while still complementing the look of the station. You get two beautifully printed manuals that are as clear as manuals for building-brick sets ever are: i.e., once in a while, you'll have to study an image to be sure what's intended, but 98% of the time, it's crystal clear for anyone who's ever built a set before. The build experience is lengthy: 2,723 pieces, with interesting parts usage and techniques. A pleasant aspect: just when building the station finally starts to get a little old, you switch over to a very different build, the train and passenger car. So, things stay fresh and fun throughout. Brick quality? As good as top brands like Cobi and Lego. In fact, better than Lego: the problems Lego has been having with bricks of the "same" color appearing in slightly different shades aren't present in this Pantasy set. Bricks of the same color all match properly. Clutch power is very similar to Lego. Scratches on parts were minimal and insignificant. Literally the only flaw I could find with this set, other than subjective issues like design choices or the lack of minifigures, is that the manual calls for one tiny part that appears pearl silver on the page, but the included part was charcoal grey. That's unfortunate but not a big deal since it's a totally unobtrusive decorative part no one would notice and not structurally important. A question mark is how well the clear canopy over the platform will stay up under its own weight over time, given that it doesn't have much support. It's too early to answer that, but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt. So, how is this set better than Lego? Lego designs tend to be conservative and predictable: the clever, innovative work often comes from other companies and MOC designers. That's true here: this is a really striking, unusual set, with a lot of thought behind it, and it would be hard to imagine Lego making something like this. Plus, unlike many Lego sets, there are no cheap, annoying stickers, just excellent printed parts. The bricks (newest generation Gobricks) are very high quality. The steampunk train itself, despite being fantasy, blows recent Lego trains, like the Orient Express, off the rails, and emphasizes just how badly Lego botched and oversimplified that locomotive. And of course this set is way, way cheaper than what Lego would typically charge for something of this size and caliber. This is total steal for the price. I would give this set 4.5 stars if I could because of the color issue with the one part, but I'm comfortable rounding up here, given what a superb set this is for a price that puts Lego to utter shame. Happily recommended.

Large and Incredibly detailed
Purchased for entertainment, I was more than entertained with this set from Pantasy. We have several sets feom Pantasy and none of them have ever disappointed. The bricks are beautifully colored, are a nice weight, and fit together seamlessly. There were lots of extras included, and the packaging is beautiful. The end product is breathtaking and faily easy to build. There were a couple sections that got a bit frustrating trying to assemble without other components falling apart. The coolest part of the entire set is the ability to slide and rotate the side buildings and I haven't seen that before in any sets. When it's completely assembled, the end result is very large and because of the metallic gold pieces throughout, makes it a beautiful display piece.

A very fun build
A very fun build, with a lot of steam punk details and gold and silver pieces. The instructions were well done and i am very impressed with Pantasy's quality.

Love the look, not as stable as I would like
I love this steam punk train station. Unfortunately, there are no train stops on the rails, so it will roll right off if you attempt to move it. Also, the roof section is a bit out of balance and will come off if you aren't extremely careful that it doesn't come off and destroy half of the build. It is such a fun addition to my collection that I can overlook it as long as it doesn't need to be moved.

Really fun build
This was a super fun set to build. The pieces fit together every bit as well as the other name brand without the huge price tag. The moving pieces work so well that this was simply such a joy to build and there were no missing pieces. I Will definitely look forward to purchasing more sets.
