Smith`s Space Saver SS5 Dual Fuel Kitchen Plinth Heater

Re-modelling our kitchen meant that we had to remove a wall mounted central heating radiator to fit more kitchen base units. I fitted this plinth heater to replace the radiator. Installation was straight forward. The plinth heater operates from either the central heating hot water, or an electric heating element. It doesn't produce very hot air, it's not as hot as the old radiator that it replaced, but the fact that it's fan assisted helps to circulate the heat around the kitchen.

Easy to install. Good instructions.If heating is off then electric heater works very well. If switched to work with heating then internal thermostat only switches unit on when heating water is hot. Plus it's own wall mounted thermostat gives god control. Excellent product.

This replaced a large wall radiator that was removed for a new kitchen cabinet. Brilliant, it’s centrally heat connected, a heater fan blower and a cool air blower all conveniently concealed a DNA’s a brilliant price, what’s not to like?
