Review: Works GREAT! Economic choice and easy to use. - It works really well, I switched to this from the Sure-Jell brand this year and it’s a much better value. I’ve found it’s equally effective at 1.5 oz replacing each 1.75 oz box of Sure-Jell a recipe calls for. You could probably play around with the amount and use less than that but everything has set well for me at 1.5 oz. I’ve made more than two dozen batches of jam with it this year and am already using a second container that seems just as good. Great product for a fantastic price.

**Q: What is the expiration date for this item? Does it last for 2 years or more?**
A: I received the jar of powdered pectin the first of August. The best buy date is 7/5/24. I read that it can be frozen to make it last longer. I am going to empty the jar into a vacuum sealer bag and vacuum seal it for the freezer. Hopefully this will keep the pectin from deterating., no air or humidity will be able to get to the powder. It will lose it's jelling properties if kept on a shelf. I hope this helps.
