This vest is perfect for teaching littles how to swim! There are removable floats within the vest to be removed in a staggered fashion to teach kids how to trust themselves and float correctly while swimming. Great quality and fit for my 13 month old. No scratchy areas. The zipper doesn’t bug him. The under strap is adjustable. Well worth the money. Easy to zip up and buckle. Works/floats well - keeping his head above the water. He can also float easily on his back. Bright color makes it easy to see in the water.

First I want to comment on the negative remarks of others. This is not a PFD but a aid in teaching kids to swim. It allows the proper prone position while also allowing them to float on their back. Even the most anxious little one is comfortable in it and has succeeded in one 1/2 lesson to paddle on their own while blowing bubbles and kicking which is an essential 1st step in learning to swim and being water safe. The removable buoyancy is great and can be adjusted. This is the third jacket I’ve used with my students and the only one that stays down away from their face. The medium size range fits most toddlers and preschoolers. I’ve been a swim instructor for over 50 years and this is by far the best teaching aid I have come across. My favorite swimming support vest!!!! My children are able to learn to swim appropriately and safely, and not only rely on floating. While the vest has great float ability, their arms being free allows them to float, while using their correct body dynamics! The inserts in the vest can be removed one at a time for less and less float!

I've bought multiple floaties for my husky 5 year old. I did research for hours trying to find one that would fit him. I gave this one a whirl. It's great material, great quality and super cute! My son complains it hurts under his arm pits and I'm not sure how to fix that issue. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars, which very well may be a personal issue than a product issue. I do like how you can remove the floating foams out, we have taken 2 out so far!

This is the second vestige of that I purchased. The first one lasted about 3 years, started to tear. My granddaughters use these vest and they are so much more comfortable than some others. It’s lightweight and nice quality. It keeps them afloat and they love the color.

These are great life vests. I bought them for my grandsons to wear in our pool. They work well for 3-6 year olds to be able to stay afloat and out of danger. Although they also helped with littler kids, they do not keep them upright with their faces out of the water, so be careful what age child.

Our oldest son has Down Syndrome and his neck is a little bit shorter than an average neck. Other life jackets rubbed on his neck or face, chaffing his cheeks every time he swam. When he got in water they would ride up on him. After trying several styles, we finally found this one! This is hands down the best life jacket for children as it does not ride up and rub all over their faces when they swim. It is also adjustable and you can remove some of the buoyancy from it as they get older so they gradually learn to swim on their own. He has used this for a few years now and it has held up well. It is very durable material and worth the price. My sister ended up purchasing the same one for her daughter. This life jacket allows much more range of motion without constraining their shoulders and armpits like puddle jumpers. I would recommend this life jacket to anyone, but especially people who's child might have issues with life jackets riding up on them or rubbing on their face.
