Amazing Tablet! My very energetic, active, outdoor, gamer son loves this tablet. After tragic ends to several tablets, I wasn't expecting much, but this one has surpassed my expectations. It's definitely rugged, it's fast, has plenty of memory, and better than expected resolution. It's easy to use because it doesn't slip out of your hand as easily as other thinner tablets. The screen is rugged too. My 8 year old son has had various tablets since he was very young and this one exceeds the tablets made for kids in sturdiness and functionality. We don't have screen protection because it's not needed. One thing to note is that it's heavier than flimsy tablets but that's not a bad thing! It's not overly heavy but you can feel the sturdiness. Do I recommend it? Without reserve... absolutely! It's the best tablet purchase I have made for my son. It's not a child's tablet but it sure as heck works perfectly as one! I've included a photo of my silly kid using his at a restaurant. No, I wasn't afraid of spills because it lives up to it's description.

It is sealed and dustproof thoroughly based on our use and testing of the claim. It is ideal for use in rough and tumble environments. The screen is bright and responsive. I have had no trouble connecting to wifi or Bluetooth. The extra material used to make it strong and waterproof has not been seen to have any impact on the tablets performance or ability to stay cool. I have played many games and spent hours browsing the web without issue. I love that I can just chuck it in my bag without worry that it will get broken. This is perfect for kids and clumsy adults. I added some nerf tube material on the edges because I have taken this out in the over water and wanted it to float if dropped, that is the only thing I felt it needed to have. This is a good value and a useful tool in the woods or in the shop without having to worry about breakage.

Was looking for a tablet that supported gsm so I wouldn't need to carry a phone and a tablet for work. This thing has definitely exceeded my expectations. Comes with high quality screen protector, heavy duty strap for the back and charge cable. Good camera,good screen resolution, good storage capacity that can be expanded with a micro SD card. Best of all it accepts a sim card and works great as a phone! Did I mention it's waterproof?!

Very tough ... The battery life is awesome, even running multiple and complex apps. Performance is quick, again, even with multiple apps or complex software. Tablet is heavy, but the build quality is very durable. This also works great with GOOGLE FI. I installed the card and the tablet did the rest. Android software runs well on this tablet, works as expected. I was skeptical about this tablet, but after using it I bought another, no hesitation.

The tablet works great. The power adapter for charging not so much. I contacted the seller they were supposed to send a new power block and for my trouble a screen protector. I have yet to receive either. I could use that charger. Love my R7 it is tough enough for my crane training site. Take your time be patient cell companies will add them slowly. New mobile devices take time to be added to networks. We do monthly practical exams using tablets. It’s rugged very easy to use and the battery life is awesome. The water resistance is great especially while raining while working. It is not light and flimsy. Two things I wish it had lanyard clips or holes for a clip on harness. And a foldable adjustable stand to prop it up. That doesn’t limit the tablet. It is great. The cellular service works great. The battery life far surpasses my IPAD 12.9. Well worth the 209. I paid the intro price. Which set it apart. Because of this I am consider buying the rugged cell. One other thing because it is new the cell companies have not all added support for the SIM be patient. A couple of days of waiting the network picked it right up. BE PATIENT. They have to add them to their network. Everything is not right away. Especially since it is a new product.

Kind of cool, works okay. Very bulky for a tablet.

Impresionante la duración de la batería, aguanta días y días usándola varias horas seguidas. En general es muy completa y bastante fluida para uso cotidiano e incluso algunos juegos ligeros. La pantalla se ve bastante bien y es rapidita abriendo aplicaciones o navegando y viendo videos. Es ruguerizada y en teoría aguanta caídas desde metro y medio de altura e incluso 30 minutos bajo el agua a metro y medio de profundidad. En verano la meteremos en la playa y veremos si hace fotos de los peces bajo las olas o me sirve de ancla⚓. Tiene la opción de poner un asa de piel atornillada a la parte trasera que le da mucha estabilidad para ambientes de trabajo por ejemplo o si vas en barco. Las cámaras cumplen, la de atrás bastante mejor que la delantera y el flash es bueno hasta 4 o 5 metros, un poco mejor que el de los móviles. Se puede usar como teléfono, poniendo tarjeta nano sim o incluso 2 o una sim y una tarjeta de memoria hasta 2Tb. Todos los puertos van bien tapados y ajustados con su goma.

A great deal, considering all the perks you get with this tablet. Extreme weather conditions make this perfect for traveling in cold winter weather or hot summer days. I'm not going to test the rugged part by throwing it on the ground as I've seen others do in reviews, but the casing is like a tank. Heavier than I was expecting, but the durability is worth the extra weight. And the battery lasts a LONG time. The screen is very responsive. I've only had this for a couple of weeks, but so far, this is a good value for the price. And call quality on the cell phone is also crisp and clear. I wish the buttons were positioned along the length of the tablet rather than the end width. It takes a little getting used to having this tablet on its stand in portrait orientation and making sure the volume and power buttons aren't accidentally depressed. Pleased with this purchase. I've wanted a tablet/cell phone combo for a while, and this fits the bill. Update Edit: I will say that the tablet's weight does take getting used to. It's more like carrying around a laptop than a tablet. Using it as a cell is not going to be something I will do a lot. I installed an app that inserts buttons on the bottom of the screen for legacy navigation (backwards, close, open apps, etc.), and I find that the screen sensitivity along the edge can take a few tries, which is almost impossible with a passive stylus on the HOTWAV. No idea yet if an active stylus would work. There's one out there that claims it can, but who knows? Also, I will echo another user's sentiment. The location of the tablet's power and volume buttons on the short end rather than the long side makes keeping the tablet oriented in the portrait position while plugged in a little tricky. And the only folder-style case available on Amazon.ca covers up that area with a strap to hold the tablet secure. This case also covers up the camera lens, so, despite the camera quality not being great, if you need to use it and it's in a case, you'll have to take it out. I'm still happy I got it, though, if only for the fact that it has a long battery life and is very durable.

Normalmente soy fan del iPad pera está tablet es muy buena rápida y de buen tamaño no se compara al iPad pero para ser Android y de una marca que no se conoce en México .es la mejor que he Tenido.estoy muy satisfecho.un comentario a mi no me molesta pero la tablet tiene un peso superior al de cualquier otra tablet no soy experto pero sin embargo vale mucho la pena por la estabilidad del sistema y su rapidez así como la duración de su batería .es una tablet muy sólida y robusta . La recomiendo ampliamente.saudos.

Hace tiempo que existen los teléfonos rugerizados y ahora empiezan a llegar las tablets rugerizadas, como esta Hotwav. Conozco la marca porque mis hijos ya han tenido dos teléfonos y han salido buenos. De momento llevo con la tablet casi un mes y me va de maravilla. Tiene una batería casi inagotable y una protección bastante buena. Sobre todo para los que tenemos niños por casa que acaban cogiendo todo lo que pillan, es una garantía contra las caídas. En cuanto a potencia, no se le pueden pedir peras al olmo, pero para la mayoría de cosas cotidianas va más que sobrada. Otra cosa es si queremos probar juegos pesados, donde va a sufrir un poco más. El peso también es superior a una tablet convencional, pero eso viene de la mano del grado de protección y la batería que lleva integrada. Una tablet bastante recomendada si queremos que nos dure y dure como las pilas duracell.
