I love the delivery floor mat by Davymat! On the first try, the Amazon delivery man followed the instructions perfectly. It’s a great product—sturdy and well-made. For extra reinforcement, I screwed the mat into the cement, and it’s held up beautifully. I hope more people adopt this because it makes things so much easier for delivery folks. In fact, our delivery man even said, “Dope!” when he saw it. Great buy!

30May2025 update: dropped one star. When opening it up, the sides of the box slide too freely & I’ve pinched my fingers multiple times; causing bad blood blister each time. They don’t stay all the way open when box is up, requiring attention … lift lid, push lightly on each side to open sides completely… lower lid. I’d also add that probably 3 out of 5 delivery people actually use it - adding “use porch lock box” added directly on my address labels. Guess they’re either in a hurry or intellectually challenged. Box is holding up well the ~7mo’s I’ve had it. Original review: One heck of an idea !!! Very well built. Takes all of 3-4seconds to open or close. I like it bcause it’s not an eye sore like a big box that’s empty 95% of the time & just sits on a porch being ugly, waiting for the next delv’y. I pop this up on the day I expect a pkg & delv’y drivers are getting used to it & some fold it open for me. I live in a place that has an HoA & their rules - but they can’t tell me to “remove the box from the porch” bcause “it’s a doormat”, & allowed (& is closed most of the time). Ha! It’s a good weight too & can be screwed to the wood frame below my front door I’m a sucker for clever stuff & this one, well, gets my clever product of the year award

This seemed very flimsy. The sides seemed to be able to push in. This wasn’t metal as we expected but rather cardboard. Not what we expected.

We ordered the DavyMat because we were tired of worrying about porch pirates and asking our neighbors to bring in our packages when we aren’t home. The DavyMat has solved all of our problems! Shipping was super fast and set up was very easy. Our delivery driver used it the very next day with no issues! This product truly is a saving grace. You’ll never have to worry if your packages are safe ever again. And it came just in time for the busy holiday season! Thank you so much!

I have been wanting some thing for my porch to put my packages in and I am so excited about this one. I love that it folds down and looks just like a doormat and then you can fold it up and it makes a pretty good size container for putting packages in and it can be locked by the delivery person. It seems to be a good quality. I would just be careful while moving it around. But this really is a cool item and I was so happy because the first day I put it up and out on my porch I had ordered some groceries and it made me so happy that the delivery person actually put the groceries in there and locked it up. So if you’re looking for a package container for your porch, I would definitely recommend this one

I learned about the Davymat from my son. I ordered the product, and it looks great. However, like many Americans, I have been robbed of my packages. I receive medical supplies and cannot afford for them to be taken. For that reason, all my packages go to the UPS store, which gets to be expensive. The Davymat has been excellent. My packages are secure for the first time in months. It is a great product. I strongly recommend it.

I sent it back

The product arrived damaged but the seller sent me another one without me having to contact them. Upon reviewing, the product is built heavy duty, of excellent quality, and will deter package theft. Would recommend this product not only because it functions as it should but because the seller stands behind their product.
