These were just what I was looking for. They seem to be sturdy and have two styles of file heads for each shape of file. Good pack for the price.

This set is nice for the price the case it comes with seems durable with a nice zipper not something that will break file seem decent quality for the price haven't used them yet but it's a very nice set if you're thinking of getting it because of the price and the quality I would say go for it I'm happy with it.

I didn't really need the case, but we found a use for it.They're pretty standard and pretty solid. If you browse Amazon for files, you're likely to find a lot of variants of these with different color handles and such. I've purchased needle files in green and orange, which were qualitatively the same.Long story short: they're fine files, just pick a color. Keep these in mind if you color code tools for certain uses and you have multiple sets of files. (Okay, it's me, I'm the guy that color codes tools for certain uses. I have files for wood, metals, and plastics. Okay.)

Just used these to file a bass nut and they worked great. In the past I had old school metal files, and these diamond coated ones are a big improvement. A bit too fat to do a guitar nut, but awesome for a bass nut!

In short:- $12 for 5 files (4 metal + 1 wood)- a bit too small (especially the handle) compare to usual expressive files- work great and good quality overallThis is a $12 kit witch is almost the price of x1 good file without the handle. They work great for simple jobs and you don't need to spend more if you use files occasionally. I guess they won't last as long as expensive files, but again, the kit is only $12.

A complete set of files to use in different scenarios for jewelry making. Set includes larger straight and flat, half round for uneven surfaces and a round one for inside burrs. Then there are the smaller ones for smaller pieces that the large ones would be too big for. I’m probably set for files for copper and brass for many years with this set! Nice case with elastic holders so they stay organized. Easy to wipe off, too!

I purchased these to replace a set of jewelers files I'd owned for over 40 years. My previous set were made in an age when the quality was much higher, but for the moderate price of these files, you get what you pay for.I've already completed the project I purchased them for and they did the job just fine.For storage, I wrapped them all in a piece of canvas and secured them with an o-ring, as they do not come with a case. So, if you need these files for just basic odd jobs, they are fine for that, but for heavy use, you might want to shop for something a little higher quality.
