This is delicious. Other than fresh, this is the only way I eat jackfruit. I make this into beefless stew along with other many other recipes

This was my first time buying (and cooking) jackfruit in general and this product in particular. Having read reviews about the briney taste, I rinsed the pieces well before cooking. Paired with a vegan chipotle ranch dressing, it was delicious! The texture and taste were pretty much indistinguishable from chicken. I'm glad I subscribed. I can see myself using this quite a lot! Oh, and none of the pieces in the can were tough or contained seeds, so nothing was wasted.

Our cans arrived in good condition, only a minor dent on two of the cans which we chose to use first. The jackfruit was tender throughout. We drained and rinsed the chunks, shredded them with our fingers into a bowl (including the triangle wedges that some people remove) and removed the larger seeds we didn’t want to eat, then gave it another rinse and laid on a kitchen towel to dry. We added the seasonings we chose for BBQ and let it sit in the bowl for an hour or two then tossed it in the skillet. The family enjoyed it, It was amazing! FYI: for those who receive cans in unusable condition. Contact customer service, you may have to send pictures but they usually take care of the issue. By this I mean the real customer service…not the ai chat bot. You can do it if you bypass the app and do to the desktop/website version of Amazon. Hope this helps! Enjoy!
