Good Selections Whole House Spider & Pest Repeller

Having read several reviews, both good and not so good, I decided to try it. It seemed to be good value if it worked and not too much money to worry about if it did not work .... however, I am delighted to say, I do believe it does work! Either that or the bugs have taken one look and me and fled! Either way, I have not seen a bug around since I started using it! As usual with products sold through Amazon, delivery was exceptionally quick.

Utter waste of money! I live in a converted barn, which plays host to a tremendous amount of unwelcome guests: spiders!! I bought on of these in the hope it would help to alleviate the problem. It would appear to be no more than a plug-in flashing LED. I have just returned from working overseas for the last two months. I made certain the device was working before I left, hoping my arachnid infestation would be remedied upon my return. I was disappointed to discover, not only were the eight legged freaks still in residence, but they have even grown in number, with more cobwebs than I have ever seen before! The little sods have even spun their webs over the device itself!! Money well spent? You decide.

Seemed to work with keeping spiders away however it makes a range of horrible noises, impossible to sleep anywhere near it.

Bought two of these after some run-ins with chihuahua-sized spiders. Not sure how well they work on repelling spiders, as I just plugged it in this morning (none so far...?), but contrary to the product description, it definitely affects cats. I opened the door to let our cat in and she made it as far as the doorway, froze and ran. I'd actually forgotten about the repellers, so had no idea what had spooked her. My husband tried to let her in a couple hours later and she did the same thing, which is when he suggested it could be the repellers. So we tried an experiment. Tried to let her in again with the repellers on and she just stood in the garden, meowing, but wouldn't come near the door. Turned off the repellers and she immediately came right in. Once she was inside, we turned them back on and she freaked out! Started slinking around, crying, hid under the bed. Food for thought for pet owners considering buying this.As for the noise that other reviewers have mentioned, our repellers are completely silent. Also received the item very quickly after purchase. But as far as spider repelling...we may never know.UPDATE: It took a few days, but our cat finally got used to the repellers. We had to keep her in the house with them turned on for a few days before she started to get used to them. She went into hiding at first, but gradually accepted that nothing was going to kill her. That said, they do seem to work for repelling spiders...the big ones, anyway. We've still gotten onsie-twosie smaller ones here and there. I can deal with that. I will say that I don't think the range on these is enough to cover an entire house. I bought two of them, just in case. Our biggest spider problem was in our foyer. I haven't seen a large spider in the foyer since we put one of these in there. I put the other in our living room (just off the foyer) and we've had two run-ins with large spiders in there since. Both times, I discovered my husband had unplugged the repeller to plug in one of his chargers (grr!). So these things do seem to work. We were running into huge spiders left and right, but now (thank god), those encounters are few and far between.

i bought 2 of these products, 1 for upstairs and 1 for down stairs. there were a lot of spiders appearing in the 2nd week but it does state that there would be more in the first few weeks they are plugged in. I am still seeing a few small spiders after 4 weeks so not really sure if they are working. I will keep them plugged in and persevere with them. hopefully they will work as we were seeing a lot of monster spiders that made me cringe!!! heres hoping!!!!WELL ITS NOW DECEMBER AND SINCE MY LAST REVIEW I HAVE ONLY SEEN 1 SPIDER AND THAT WAS ABOUT 6 WEEKS AGO. SO FOR ME IT HAS WORKED. WE USED TO SEE LOADS OF WOOD LICE TOO BUT HAVEN`T SEEN ANY AT ALL. SO FOR ME YES IT WORKS!!!!! NO MORE SPIDERS YIPEEEE!!

I ordered this product through Amazon having seen a mouse run across my living room after a spell of partucularly wet weather and fearing that I might soon end up with an infestation. Delivery was prompt much to my relief and I plugged the device in straight away. It is very simple to set up and the only minor issue is that my twelve year old daughter can hear it in one of her ears but she seems to have gotten used to it! I actually found it encouraging that it was doing something and was amazed that her hearing was so good. I have cleaned away all evidence of mouse and haven't seen any fresh evidence so from my point of view so far so good. Obviously the proof of the product's reliability lies in the lack of evidence to the contrary but I would say the product has given me peace of mind and for the price and ease of use- I have just plugged it in and forgotten about it- I consider it well worth it.As far as spiders are concerned I am very happy to live in peace with them but my two girls can be a bit pathetic in the presence of any eight-legged creatures. I think they would say that the situation has improved but time will tell. I think September is typically a prolific time for them (the spiders) so we shall see. Should either situation change I will update my review.

Product gave the nice feeling that you have taken action against spiders but in the end I don't really think it did anything. I still found the occasional spider around the room, even after the one month period where apparently they are spooked out of their hiding places. Also a few months down the line and I think its completely broken. I can hear this repeated noise coming from it, which trust me... gets annoying. Final judgement: I know spiders are scary.. but don't do the spontaneous buy for a solution as I did, as it just doesn't work.
