St. Ives Gentle Smoothing Oatmeal Scrub & Mask

This is now my new holy grail.Let me start with the smell. It smells just like a holiday, I could sit and sniff it all day, it’s such a comforting smell, and not too overpowering or perfumed.The texture of the product is a cream based formula so it does not foam up on your face. I personally find it quite uncomfortable when a wash foams up and I find it goes in your eyes and nose whether you want it to or not. This definitely doesn’t do that. It is thick and grainy, which is fabulous for exfoliation.My number one favourite about this though is the face that it is a 2-in-1 product, it’s a face wash plus a mask. So when I have a shower, I wet my face, give it a good massage with this product and then leave it on my skin while I was my hair and body. I then rinse it off at the end, so it’s sometimes on for a good 20 minutes. I personally don’t find that it leaves my skin feeling tight either, it’s very comfortable and keeps the dry skin at bay. The bottle is a great size and my last bottle last me months.This can’t be beaten for a high street brand and the price point.

This a great facial scrub. I have sensitive skin and I am able to use it, makes skin smooth. Has tiny particles that do not scratch the skin

I've loved St. Ives facial scrubs for a long time but only ever found this particular one on Amazon. Will buy again, no doubt.

I'm a 27-year-old guy with dry skin that is prone to minor breakouts. At first I was wary, and normally I would wait a few months before I review, but I've had this product for around 2 weeks and it is definitely making a difference to my skin. My dry skin is almost gone, there's no irritation, it helps prevent blackheads and overall it makes my skin feel like all the grime and dead skin has been stripped off. You apply a layer and leave for 5-7 minutes and it works it magic, but it is quite difficult to wash off and if not done correctly it will leave a white crusty residue. I use this product every 2 days and my skin is very soft and evenly toned.I do, however, have a small issue with the smell. It smells of a thick, chemically sweet soap beneath a fine layer of porridge. I can't stand smelly products, especially chemical/artificial smells. This definitely isn't much of a natural product.

This is the best gentle exfoliator I’ve used on my dry skin. Excellent value for money too.

The 'grains' are just right to exfoliate regularly. It smells great and my skin feels really clean when I'm done.

It's a nice texture, but the exfoliating is so minor that it might as well not be considered an exfoliating face wash/scrub! Smells nice, feels nice to wash with, but afterwards I've found it to make my skin feel tight which I'm not a big fan of.

been using this for several years. if used as a mask, it is good at removing blackheads and tightening pores. good as a wash too.
