Flies, be warned!
This is an excellent product. Does exactly what is says it does. I have a house plant which has very recently attracted flies but that issue has now gone since using this device.

Not worth the price
I bought three different types of fly traps, in order of least to most expensive: the sticky tape kind, fruit fly funnels and then this thing. By far the least effective, over the entire use time (two weeks) only managed to catch less than a dozen flies. The other two weren't up to half the price and caught a significant amount in a matter of minutes. The issue was almost completely under control by the next day, no thanks to this glorified night light. If I'm being kind, it might be more effective as a passive use item you have on in the background to catch any strays, but that's being extremely generous.

Fly catcher
Very slow process didn’t catch as many flies as I had hoped but it is a small device and for a room it may not be enough. But it did catch some. Doesn’t leave any smell as other products. It’s easy to use as you just plug it in and it’s done. Good quality although it’s a little big and can sometimes turn the switch on the plug off which causes it not to function properly. Just have to keep an eye on it

mediocrite performance
The device performance has been abysmal. I placed it by the kitchen above the bin, leaving it on day and night, and it has only caught four small black flies in 10 days. My DIY trap (a bottle of cider vinegar with honey and a drop of detergent covered with cling film) typically catches 20 to 30 every few days. Very disappointed!

Does not work at all
Ended up returning this purchase. Our area was dealing with a fly infestation at one point. With my apartment they were mostly around my coffee machine, even though it was fully cleaned out. I plugged this into the power socket directly next to the machine and where there was most activity. It was up for at least a week - in that time it caught a grand total of 0 flies. Not even a fruit fly or a gnat..

TOO WIDE, THE SOCKET ON-OFF SWITCH PUSHES PREVENTS CONNECTION
I didn't realise when I ordered, but it's so wide that it won't work - the on-off switch means it doesn't fit flush to the socket, therefore doesn't get a clean connection. I'm now going to have to buy twin adaptors to push it far enough away from the socket so they on-off switch doesn't affect the connection.
