Came with batteries (which I hadn't really thought about). reasonably sturdy. Good selection of speeds but I didn't think the 'random' one was very random; the light just goes around in a circle with little variation but it was inexpensive.. Probably good for a young cat/young adult; my 14 year old wasn't that interested.

Was here within 2 days of ordering and the cats love it. Its less noisy than the previous one and seems quicker and the timer works as well

Lots of positive reviews here so maybe we're just unlucky, but this thing doesn't work. Only one of the four settings functions and even then it switches itself off after 10 seconds. Sending back.
