Then in the morning I can't feel them for a while or pick anything up and have to hold them under hot running water for several minutes to get the feeling back. Although these gloves are advertised as "Arthritis Gloves" they are brilliant for RSI syndrome. On the occasions I work using my hands continuously I wear them to bed at night and they stop the tingling and numbness completely! I couldn't believe it when I used them for the first time. I woke next morning without any disturbance from my hands during the night. They are brilliant. Make sure you buy the correct fit, ie; small enough, as if they are too loose you won't get the effect from them that you need. I can't recommend them highly enough. They will make your life easier. Review: Good gloves, but a bit bigger than anticipated - I do like these gloves, but am going to buy a smaller size. They are great for keeping hands warm but the compression isn't brilliant for me with the large size except on days when my hands balloon up a lot. The fingers are a lot longer than I expected also. I measured my hands and went for the large based on that, so it was a bit disappointing. They do shrink very slightly in the wash so they are a little better now than they were when they arrived. I know the idea with these gloves is that you're supposed to be able to use your hands quite freely. They're quite thin and better than a lot of gloves in that respect, but don't get carried away with the idea you'll be able to do things like type comfortably in them - they really slow you down. Overall, I would say I'm glad I bought them - they are much nicer to wear than the horrible stiff things my physio tried on me! But the medium might be better for me. I bought these in the mere hope of a tiny bit of relief. I am blown away instantly putting them on was instant relief. A good amount of compression to aid and soothe pain, retains heat very well.
