Reviewed Jan 2026: I always open any review of coffee that ise very subjective, as individual tastes are going to vary.. But, for my tastes, this is certainly on of my favorites, as its got a decent, strong taste that is not bitter. I have a list of preferred coffee beans, and I generally buy whatever is the best price point, and this is on that list, I wish it was on special more frequently. I use this to make expresso shots using a bean to cup machine, and then add hot milk. I did get some friends to buy me some when they drove to Italy this year, and the local prices are considerably better than Amazon, but we know the reasons why buying in the UK would be more. Definitely will buy again when the price allows.

Honestly, it's been a great companion for my espresso machine, but I've also had a decent pour-over with it. The aroma? Absolutely inviting. Opening the bag is like walking into your favorite coffee shop – that burst of coffee smell that just picks you up. Now, the beans themselves look top-notch. They’re pretty uniform, and I haven’t come across any odd ones that looked under or over-roasted. They're not too oily either, which I’ve read can be a good thing for keeping your coffee maker in better shape. But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. The price tag is a bit on the high side. I get it, quality coffee costs more, but if you’re brewing a few cups a day like me, those bags start to add up. Also, the bag doesn’t reseal, which is a bit of a bummer. I had to find an airtight container to dump the beans into after opening, to keep them from going stale. And a heads up for anyone who likes their coffee on the lighter side – this might be a bit much for you. It’s definitely got a kick to it, which I love, but it might not be everyone’s cup of...coffee. So, wrapping up, would I buy it again? Yes, for those days when I feel like treating myself. It's not my everyday coffee, mainly because of the price, but when I do splurge on a bag, I enjoy every bit of it. If you’re into robust and flavorful coffees and don’t mind spending a bit more, I’d say give Kimbo Crema Intensa a shot.

I've tried a fair few types of coffee beans now and this one is by far my favourite. Creamy with a hint of caramel. also one of the better value beans when bought in 1kg bags

Great for the price. I'm using an aeropress and a medium to fine grind. -the bag was produced 8 weeks ago -beautiful dark oily looking beans -bloom is impressive -strong full bodied flavour with pleasent mouth feel -no bitterness, but that's slightly due to the grind and brewing being appropriate. The bean is very forgiving. You could pay double for the same quality.

Sono un grande appassionato di caffè e ho deciso di provare i Kimbo Chicchi di Caffè Interi Crema Intensa dopo aver letto alcune recensioni entusiastiche. La mia macchina è una De’Longhi Primadonna Elite, un modello automatico di fascia alta che mi permette di personalizzare la preparazione del caffè in base alle mie preferenze. E devo dire che con questi chicchi, il risultato è stato veramente sorprendente! Gusto e Profilo Aromatico La tostatura media di questi chicchi è davvero ben equilibrata e si adatta perfettamente a chi ama un caffè deciso ma non troppo amaro. Quello che mi ha colpito di più è la profondità del gusto speziato, con note che richiamano cannella e cioccolato fondente. Il profilo aromatico è ricco, ma allo stesso tempo morbido e rotondo, senza essere invadente. Quando preparo un caffè con questi chicchi, il sapore è sempre molto complesso e avvolgente, con un retrogusto che persiste piacevolmente. Grazie alla possibilità di regolare la macinatura in modo molto preciso, ho potuto ottenere una preparazione ottimale per ogni tazza. Con una macinatura più fine, il caffè risulta ancora più intenso, mentre con una macinatura più grossa il profilo aromatico rimane più morbido, ma comunque ricco. La macchina esegue perfettamente l’estrazione, ed è sempre una garanzia. Profumo e Freschezza Quando apro la confezione, il profumo che si sprigiona è incredibile. Un aroma intenso, che anticipa il piacere della tazza. La busta da 1kg è ben sigillata, mantenendo il caffè fresco per lungo tempo, grazie anche alla qualità del confezionamento che preserva gli aromi e le caratteristiche organolettiche dei chicchi. In questo senso, posso dire che la qualità è veramente alta, e anche dopo diverse settimane dall’apertura, i chicchi mantengono la loro freschezza e aromaticità. Pro e Contro Pro: Tostatura perfetta: il caffè ha un gusto deciso, con note di spezie come cannella e un delicato sentore di cioccolato. Ottima crema e corpo: la macchina produce un caffè cremoso e corposo, ideale per gli amanti dell'espresso. Freschezza prolungata: la confezione da 1kg mantiene i chicchi freschi per molto tempo. Compatibilità eccellente con macchine automatiche come la De’Longhi Primadonna Elite. Contro: Se si preferisce un caffè più leggero o con note più fruttate, potrebbe non essere la scelta ideale. Ma per chi ama il caffè intenso, speziato e corposo, è perfetto. Conclusioni Sono estremamente soddisfatto della qualità di questi Kimbo Chicchi di Caffè Interi Crema Intensa. Il gusto speziato e il perfetto equilibrio della tostatura media rendono ogni tazza un’esperienza unica. La compatibilità con la mia De’Longhi Primadonna Elite è perfetta, e il caffè che preparo con questi chicchi è sempre una garanzia. Se amate un caffè deciso, con sfumature di cannella, cioccolato e una crema densa, vi consiglio vivamente di provarlo. È un caffè che, per chi come me apprezza la qualità e l’intensità, non delude mai!

Love this coffee! Grinds well in my Breville Smart Grinder, and taste is fantastic. This coffee has a smooth-creamy taste, and I find that I can drink it black / great as an espresso, whereas I usually put cream in my coffee.
