Long setup + learning, but easy to and fun to play.
I wish it was easier to setup, not sure how, but wish it was... Other than that, the rules are a little lengthy, but it's easy to pick up and doing a gameplay loop makes the steps very clear. The game pieces are solid and feel like they will last a long time. I appreciate that almost all the info is present and mostly easy to understand, although I do occasionally need to look through the rulebook to confirm a thing or two. Don't get discouraged from the long setup or rules explanation!! It's a lot more straightforward than it seems! Although, the biggest con is there isn't a ton of interaction between players. You can kind of try to block their path? But trying to beat them to certain resources doesn't seem to matter too much since there's a lot of ways to rack up points, this means there's not much value in trying to force yourself to interact with others :( Makes it good for a simple game to play when we're just chatting and keeping it chill.

Yokohama is a beautifully designed, immersive strategy game
Yokohama is a beautifully designed, immersive strategy game that takes players into the bustling streets of Meiji-era Japan. With its worker placement mechanics, players build businesses, manage resources, and navigate trade routes in pursuit of influence and success. The game is complex enough for dedicated gamers but accessible after a few plays, with each session offering new strategic choices. It supports 2-4 players, runs about 90 minutes, and is ideal for ages 14+. If you enjoy intricate strategy and historical themes, Yokohama is a fantastic pick!

Great strategy game with wonderful replayabilty.
This is an excellent game with great replay value. The board and goals change every game, so you need to stay flexible to play the board and secure your victory. Components are excellent quality, with dual-layered player boards to hold the various game tokens. Components are well made also.

Fun, easy to learn!
Fun game and easy to learn; feels a little like light-weight chess, as you have to plan a few steps ahead. It takes a little time to lay everything out and the game require a bit of space to play, so be aware of that when you purchase. Card text on the small side.

Great light-mid weight game.
Love this game. It's a great light-mid weight euro game. Beautiful production, pretty easy teach and length is reasonable. This game will hit the table often. Think lords of waterdeep level of complexity.

BEAUTIFUL reprint of a great game
This is a solid homerun. Great dual-layered boards... beautiful artwork... They really nailed it on this one. Was already a great game but the production quality is far better in this version than what TMG previously had done
