If you want tart, this is the culture for you. It's excellent in every respect, but too tart for me.

here y'all, this is the yogurt I made with this culture. the taste, the thickness, the freshness is unbelievable. I will definitely be a lifelong customer. here is my recipe: boil 1 gallon milk and turn off the fire right before the milk foam exceeds the pot. leave it alone till it comes down to 130 Fahrenheit. once it is, administer 2 packets of culture to the pot stirring very well for 5 minutes with a manual hand mixer. cover the pot with the lid and wound a blanket over the pot. no spot should remain uncovered. give it 10 hours in the corner of a room and then open it. don't immediately eat it, as it needs some down time. wait 24 hours in fridge before start eating. enjoy.

This makes the best yogurt in my instant pot every timeā¦.. 2 packets with 2 containers of Fairlife whole milk. Set in yogurt function for 10 hrs at night and next morning let sit until room temp. Then refrigerate.

Have been buying the culture for years. Very happy with taste and texture. Currently the packet size is 3 grams. They used to be 5 grams. The 3 gram does not make the texture/density I like. I measure additional 2 grams from a second packet. In the end costs more but makes the perfect yogurt.

I like making yogurt! This is so easy to use. We usually make plain unflavored yogurt so everyone can dress as wanted. It turns out thick and creamy. It's tart enough that you can eat it plain but it sweetens easy when you add things to it.
