Product is designed to lay on the bare trunk lip, not over any original factory spoiler or mounting kit. It will not be hollow on the bottom, but has a moulded surface to the trunk so you just lay tape peices on the bottom and stick it. Was easy enough to install, just stuck it on with double sided tape, and lined it up best I could with a tape measure. It seems to fit well but is differently styled than the original factory spoiler so it looks a bit weird to me, but that’s fine. The only hard part for me was getting the old spoiler off and removing all the tape adhesive so that I had a nice clean surface. Overall I’m pretty happy, I’ll update if it falls off, but I lathered that baby in tape so here’s hoping it doesn’t.

The fitment is slightly off on the curvature of the trunk. This causes the ends of the spoiler to lift up and detach the double sided tape. The tape isn’t very adhesive to start with. The entire length of tape across the spoiler came off after a few days from the temperature changes between night and day. I didn’t bother putting it back on. The glossy surface scratches so easily that it looks horrible under bright sunlight so even if I could get it to stay, it wouldn’t look very good. I’m way past the return window so it looks like I wasted my money on this. Don’t bother. You’re better off buying an OEM part for not much more.
