Good brushes for the price, great for beginners to purchase.
I am a huge fan of Princeton Neptune brushes and needed an angle spotter and a #2 round brush, so I decided to give this Real Value set a try. It was purchased at $11.30, averaging to less than $2 per brush. Compared to the Neptune Aquarelle 25 (1/4), the Real Value Shader #6 released most of the colors earlier on during the wash, while the Aquarelle released the colors more evenly throughout the stroke. These brushes also obviously do not retain as much water as the Neptune series, which are known for their water holding prowess. The same can be said for the rest of the brushes, with the release being heavier in the beginning of the strokes/washes. I was hoping for the Angle Spotter to be stiffer, the goal was to use it to make small spots like stars in galaxies, but the tip bends easily, I was only able to make really fine dots when using lots of control. Compared to using the Uni-Ball Signo Medium Point 1.0mm white gel pen for stars, the size of the dots are about the same. The lines on the cactus were made with the Angle Spotter and the lines made were about 0.5-1.0mm. The flowers were made with the Angle Shader. The brushes were also stained a little green after the first use, but that's not really a big deal. I still think this set is a good set to have for beginners or even intermediates, the value for it is great.

Long handled but fairly good otherwise
These were good but I'm new to art painting and didn't know these were super long handled. Found it really annoying to paint with that long of handle. They have held up pretty well but did have a few bristles fall out.

These brushes are Great!
I really love these brushes. I buy them over and over again, because acrylic paints hurt most brushes and have to be replaced. These are good quality and very affordable. I recently got them as a gift for someone else to use with gouache paints!

Perfect for gouache!!
What a treat these are!! My new favorites. I bought them 6 months ago and they have held their shape great. I use them with gouache and just clean with water. The white hair is stained but that's to be expected. They hold paint and water well and feel comfortable. The tiniest one (3/0) is my favorite and I have had zero hairs flare out. Every brush is still pointy!

Synthetic White Taklon Princeton Real Value
This brushes are good, but I think it's more useful for gouche or acrylics than watercolors. They're semi-soft, but I think it's a great deal. The cons is, they are white, and stained easily, and not hold water...of course for watercolors.

Love them
I am pretty much a beginner at painting and acrylics. I was looking for some decent brushes that weren’t going to break the bank and these actually are a really good fit. They are nice and Soft and hold a lot of paint and are very easy to clean. The long handles are actually really nice to paint with because you can pull back from your artwork and get a good look at it while you’re painting. I will definitely buy these again
