We prviously had an Eureka E10 vacuum and mop robot for 4 years. We had no idea what we were missing until we purchased this Narwal Freo X10 Pro. It maps very fast. It is extremely quite. The vacuum then mop with a refreshed mop head solution is much better than dragging around a robot mop pad with no way to clean it without removing and washing it. We have 3 Australian Sheppards that shed alot. This was the number one concern, whereas the prvious unit needed daily attention. Not a single hair tangle in the floating rotating brush of this unique Narwal Freo X10 Pro Robot vacuum. 4 months of no robot management is wonderful. The application was easy to use with a ton of customizable options. The AI option to recognize various floor types and throw rugs ensures a complete clean and quick simple setup. Lastly the price vs product was very reasonable. Great product! After spending many months researching, we are glad we made this investment.

This robot works amazing. It vacuums and mops very well, leaves the floors super clean, and is easy to use. The navigation is accurate, the app is simple, and the self-cleaning feature is a big time saver. Totally worth it!

I’ve been using the Narwal X Freo vacuum for a few weeks now and I’m genuinely impressed. Setup was quick and easy, and the app is very user-friendly. I absolutely loved this machine for the first three months. It was perfect. It vacuumed and mopped my floors on a schedule. I have hardwood tile and area rugs. I had my mapping completely set up so when it mopped it avoided the area rugs it cleaned meticulously and for a 3700 square-foot house it took hours of work off of me. Recently, it started completely not working. I had not changed any of the settings. It was on the schedule, but all of a sudden it was not cleaning rooms. I asked it to do quick tasks so I could watch it and it would go into a room turn around go back to the dock and it would say it had completed the job when the cleaning had been done. It began to mark all of my room rooms as carpet. Again, I had not changed any settings from the first three months. I contacted the company and they continuously asked me for information email after email asking me to show them pictures or check my settings which I would tell them I did and I was aware of and they suggested that the carpet setting was on so that it would avoid the room completely(which is ridiculous on so many fronts being that the kitchen is tile and it claims it’s carpet). I have been unable to get it to do anything correctly, and I cannot allow it to do it schedule at night since it might mop one of my rugs. (because all of my map settings have been changed to complete carpet and I can’t get it to recognize rug areas.) the company has not been helpful at all, so I am looking at another company that has a new mop and vacuum out with newer sensors and hoping I might do better with that. I loved the machine. I would be happy if they offered to fix it, but the company has been an absolute failure and offered absolutely no assistance rather they just continue to try and send useless emails which I don’t even have time for and suggest that it is my operating error. While in many situations that could be the case, I have checked and recheck my settings to no avail. In one of the photos above, you will see it went into a room and left the room and said task completed and had I not watched it with my own eyes; I would’ve presumed that the room was completed. Edit as of 12/20/2024: after I had for the most part given up on the correspondence; the company then contacted me and said they would be happy to take it back and they would send me a mailing label. I responded that I would not send it back if I had to pay.(I was one month over the return limit when this started). One response said I would have to pay and get a box and the other response said they would pay; regardless -I was going to have to pay for whatever repair and for me after reading other reviews; the repairs do not seem worth the investment and it is repeatedly suggested to purchase a repair contract which also costs more. My new machine by a different company is working very well so far. And actually does a better job on thick rugs. I finally decided to just donate the machine to Goodwill and if somebody else wants to fight with repair; they’re welcome to..

This device has been a total game changer for me! It saves me hours every week on cleaning floors. The device is virtually self maintaining. I really enjoy all the different cleaning modes and customization features. It’s easy to set up and the unit doesn’t take up too much space. It does a great job navigating around furniture and the app sends a notification if any issues. The high suction picks up most dirt and pet hair without any issues. If I feel an area needs further cleaning, I will direct the unit to do 2X the cleaning in that spot. Makes my life so much easier. Allows me to go have fun and not worry about cleaning my floors!

The robot is impressive. It performs strongly and is very convenient for my everyday home cleaning. Its suction is powerful enough that could easily handles dust, crumbs, and pet hair(l got a cat in my apartment and I used to suffer from the hair). The dual rotating mop pads are so reliable mopping for typical floor dirt and footprints. The all-in-one base station is also amazing, it automatically empties the dustbin, washes and dries the mop pads, and truly makes the device feel “set-and-forget." Navigation is generally smart and efficient, the robot seldom struggle with small obstacles or clutter, and its performance on thick carpets is above average. It is pretty good for homes with mostly hard floors then few carpet in rooms, and users who want both automation and low maintenance.

I’ve been singing praises of my Narwal vacuum robot to so many people that I lost count. It is a life-changing invention. Now I have 3 vacuum robots, one on each floor. An older model of Roborock and two Narwals. I've been using the Roborock for about 1.5 years and the two Narwals for about several months. The new Narwal model is quiet (enough), supports all kinds of customized cleaning sequence and intensity. Most importantly, Narwal has achieved true zero hair entanglement and cleans mops on its own. I have a lot of hair on the floor especially in the bathroom. Previously with Roborock, I always need to pre-clean the floor with swiffer first. NO NEED at all with Narwal. This means I only need to change the water tank and empty the dustbin from time to time. If you always have human or pet hair on the floor, this is a huge win. The App allows you to set the cleaning sequence--we've chosen to vacuum first and then mop. If your floors are clean enough, you can also choose to vacuum and mop at the same time. I have them run on automated cleaning routines 4 times a week on hardwood floors and tiles. The floors after cleaning are as clean as can be. The robot has LiDAR sensor and runs fine even in darkness. The only thing to watch out for, is not to clutter the floor with excessive power cables. The robot might get tangled with cable in narrow corners where it is hard to turn and maneuver. Narwal also cleans and dries mops on its own. When mopping the floor, it allows you to choose how frequently you want it to return to base and clean the mop, e.g., every X square metres, so that it runs on clean mops throughout the house. Great engineering, isn't it! After the entire routine, it will wash the mop and dry with hot air. I've checked the mops from time to time; they are dry and clean. no mold buildup, which is important. I also take out the base plate (in the base, beneath the robot) once in a month to clean. There are some minor dry stains. nothing serious; just reasonable maintenance as you would for any appliances. The Narwals are so good, which makes me want to replace my older model Roborock as well. The only reason that was holding me back is that we only got the Roborock for about 1.5 years. It is too wasteful to get rid of it. So for now, in terms of house floor cleaning, I have a happiness score of 8.5 out of 10, without any hired help.

We have had our Narwal for about a month now and all I can say is WOW!!! I am blown away by three things. 1. The way the roller brush captures animal hair is mind blowing. We have an Irish Wolfhound that leaves hair throughout the house. Since we started using this, there is barely anything on the ground (daily cleaning) and have yet to have a brush tangle. 2. The mop function is incredible. This vacuum/map does such an amazing job on our floors. Every morning we wake up to spotless floors. 3. This thing is quiet. I actually like the fact that there is no dust bin capture in the base. It's so quick an easy to empty that it's really not an issue. You can barely hear the thing while it's cleaning the house. Truly impressed. The loudest part is when it cleans the mops, but even then it's not that loud. Setup was fairly easy, but as others have mentioned, connecting to your Wifi for the first time can be a challenge. It found my Wifi, I entered the password, but it wouldn't finish the setup. I just ended up force closing the app and opened it back up, started the process again and it went through. Mapping the house was fairly easy, but I did notice a few errors it made and had to remap a few times. Not a big deal as it's a very fast process. I ended up putting down fake cardboard walls to help it separate certain rooms (rather than making it one giant room). Seemed to fix the problem. I also had to cover a few mirrors in the house as it though there was a secret portal into another dimension! LOL The app for the most part is intuitive and easy to use. Mapping a second floor is a PITA, and it does not work the same as it does for the first floor. You can only select an entire area rather than an individual room. Also, I can't figure out how to tell it to mop on the second floor as it needs it's base. Luckily for us we have mostly carpet on the second floor. Customer support is non existent so don't get your hopes up. I have emailed there team a few times and still no response. I have also tried the Reddit Forum and you get a response, but they tell you to email their CSR team and you fall into a never ending cycle of 'NO SUPPORT'. All of my issues have to do with the APP and not about the machine itself... just an FYI. Repair support may be faster. As for the machine and base itself. It's a premium robot vacuum and it is hands down the nicest looking of the bunch. We also got the auto water exchange system and it works like a dream. If you can plumb it in, make the purchase. You won't regret it!

Ce robot est bluffant Après 2 semaines d’utilisation, il est au top! La cartographie est exceptionnelle, et personnalisable. Vous pouvez ajouter des pièces fictives, des obstacles, choisir d’ignorer les tapis détectés, etc. J’ai créé des pièces fictives pour les nettoyer l’une après l'autre, pendant qu’il nettoie une zone, je range et fait les poussière d’une autre, etc. Je m’occupe du linge pendant qu’il nettoie pour moi. Gain de temps énorme! Il peut soit aspirer, laver, aspirer et laver ou aspirer puis laver. La puissance de nettoyage est réglable. L’aspiration est très puissante Il va partout et son patin n’abîme pas les bords et les meubles. Le nettoyage des serpillères est excellent. Le seul petit bémol : le collecteur de poussière est petit et les vrais détritus (poils animaux, cheveux, terre etc) ne sont pas récupérés par la station, il est donc nécessaire de le vider régulièrement si vous avez des animaux à la maison. La brosse rotative est mieux que celle du dyson, je n’ai encore, après 2 semaines, aucun poils ou cheveux entremêlés dans la brosse! La station ne récupère que la poussière (fine). Le nettoyage est bien fait, il ne reste plus que certains endroits difficiles à finaliser. Il est très silencieux. Je pense que je peux encore réussir à améliorer son utilisation au fur et à mesure. Je n’ai pas encore testé de créer la lampe pour l’étage . Je suis très satisfaite de ce robot. Il est livré avec des pièces supplémentaires d’avance. Livraison plus rapide que prévue Je suis ravie de mon achat et le recommande.

I want to love this product so much but it just isn’t doing the job. I have a very thin ruggable rug and it seems to just pile a lot of dirt on the edge. At first it kept getting stuck but I’ve tapped down the edges but still a problem remains. It is very sleek and stylish and when there are no obstacles like rugs or cabinets it does clean quite well. My $200 vacuum did a better job.

Wir hatten für ein Jahr den Freo, dessen Pumpe ging aber kaputt und überschwemmte alles, Amazon war super und hat ihn retourniert Statt dessen haben wir jetzt den Z Ultra. Warum? Weil ich nicht bereit war, mehr als 1000 Euro auszugeben! Meine Bewertung nach 9 Monaten im Einsatz: Pro und Contra: - Einrichtung völlig unproblematisch 100 qm2 waren innerhalb von 8 Minuten kartiert. - Dann habe ich in der Karte die Möbel ergänzt, was dazu führte, dass er in manchen Räumen nur die Hälfte bearbeitet hat im ersten Job. Also noch mal neu kartieren und keine Möbel reinstellen, sondern nur die Räume aufteilen (das ist leider sehr sehr pummelig und dauerte ne Weile). Danach hat er dann brav gesaugt/gewischt, wobei mir aufgefallen ist, dass die KI Optimierung der Routen manchmal zu sehr skurrilen Strecken führt. Er lernt, aber die Ergebnisse sind nicht immer ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung. Nach 6 Wochen hat er sich so lala eingelernt und macht es ordentlich. - Saugleistung: Eher unterdurchschnittlich, außer man stellt ihn während des Jobs manuell auf Höchste Saugstufe. Dann ist es ok - er macht aber eine Riesenlärm und nach 60 qm2 ist der Akku leer und er muss zum Laden in die Station. - Wischleistung: Okay, nur die Ecken die trifft er nicht und der alte Freo konnte die Kanten besser reinigen. Der Z Ultra hält brav Abstand von allem, aber dadurch wischt er die Ränder auch nicht. - Reinigungsmittel: Tadellos, aber ziemlich kleiner Tank, kleiner als beim Freo - das geht ins Geld (siehe unten) - Wasserverbrauch: Ich habe ihn auf 12 qm2 eingestellt. Nach dieser Fläche geht der sich waschen. Der Wasserverbrauch bei 100 qm2 Reinigungsfläche liegt bei uns bei 90% des Tanks. Also echt okay. - Absaugen in der Station: Funktioniert zuverlässig. - Reinigung von Pads und so weiter in der Station: Das ist ein ECHTER Pluspunkt zum alten Freo (der war nach kürzester Zeit in der Bodenplatte so verschmutzt, dass es ein echter Aufwand war es zu reinigen): Der Z Ultra hat auch nach Wochen eine fast völlig saubere Reinigungsplatte und sogar die Pads sehen aus wie geleckt. Das ist ein enormer Fortschritt und ich bin ziemlich begeistert! Die Reinigung mit heißem Wasser ist hier ein echter Fortschritt! - Fotooption: Ist lustig, brauche ich aber nicht. - Videooption: Ich war verblüfft, dass er das kann, ich benutze es aber nicht. Wenn Z Ultra arbeitet ist eh keiner im Haus. - App allgemein: Ist gut, man muss sie kennenlernen um zu verstehen wie man sie benutzt. Ist aber okay auch wenn sich mir die Logik bei manchen Sachen nicht erschließt. Beispiel: Es ist echt aufwändig bei Parkett mit darauf liegenden Teppichen ihn dazu zu kriegen, dass er die Teppiche saugt. Per Default schließt er sie aus, mann muss ihm explizit sagen, dass er drüber steigen soll und sie saugen. Dass ich die Teppichgröße nicht ändern kann ist mir gar nicht aufgefallen, aber das ist auch gar nicht notwendig, denn er manövriert ja immer auf Sicht und erkennt auch verschobene Teppiche. So und jetzt kommt der MEGA NACHTEIL des Z Ultra: Ich habe als Vorbesteller das Zubehörpaket kostenlos bekommen. Das hat mich sehr gefreut! ABER: Das Zubehörpaket kostet 198 Euro !?!? Das ist ja wohl nicht wahr! Nach meiner Rechnung hält der Inhalt bei meiner Nutzungshäufigkeit des Roboters ca 9 Monate, also wären das 264 Euro / Jahr! Will sich Narwal hier auf Dauer beim Kunden bereichern? Das Paket hat einen Wert von ca 60 Euro meiner Meinung nach. Soviel hat es auch beim alten Freo gekostet. Ich finde Narwal sollte hier noch mal stark nachdenken!! Fazit: Sieht stylisch aus und arbeitet bisher zuverlässig. Saugt okay bis gut und wischt sehr gut. Tadellose Sauberkeit der Dockingstation! Respekt hierfür! App ist gut, wenn man sie kennengelernt hat. Lasst die Möbelkonfiguration weg, dann arbeitet der kleine Roboter viel besser. Wenn das Zubehör so teuer bleibt, dann entstehen extrem hohe Runtimekosten und dann muss ich über den langfristigen Einsatz des Z Ultra noch mal sehr nachdenken ( 198 Euro alle 9 Monate - das macht 264 Euro pro Jahr ). Update nach 14 Monaten Nutzung: Die Batterie hatte einen Defekt. Die Ladung stürzte nach ca 60% innerhalb von Minuten auf 0%. Nawal Kundendienst wollte Beweise, die ich per Screenshots geschickt habe. Das Einschicken im Originalkarton und die Retourenschein war super problemlos und war innerhalb einer Woche erledigt. Toller Service! Zudem hat sich der Zubehörpreis deutlich reduziert und die einzelnen Komponenten bekommt man mittlerweile zu normalen Preisen, daher ziehe ich diesen Kritikpunkt zurück.
