Breakthrough Copywriter: A Field Guide to Eugene M. Schwartz Advertising Genius Review: A great read! - This is a great, precise, break down of the original book!! Review: Strong summary of Breakthrough Advertising - I'd take these negative reviews with a grain of salt. Editing issues are not a big deal, and I don't even recall what they're talking about. Here's the reality: this book gives you a strong summary of Breakthrough Advertising. They're like classroom notes. I'm a pro copywriter and refer to this little text every now and then to refresh on the principles. Definitely a solid addition to your collection.

Terrible. Needed an editor. Inexcusible.
For a book about writing, by an editor, it's terrible. Just terrible. There are so many typos, formatting and grammar errors on every single page it's unreadable due to the distractions. The author upfront says he doesn't say where Mr. Schwartz is quoted. The reader never knows. Terrible to not give proper credit. There's no organization or explanation to bullet point thoughts. I'm ordering the book by Eugene from the library and will copy that. This is unreadable and going to recycle bin. Inexcusable.

Terrible; just terrible
How ironic such a terribly written book on such an important topic about writing well. I have to be honest I only read the first 20 or so pages and struggled through every sentence. This book is so confusing and unclear it is ridiculous given the topic
