This rod is great! I love kastking ultralight rods. They seem to have just the right feeling for what I want. They are sensitive and light while still being very strong. Definitely recommend!

Okay folks, first off, this rod is SUPER light weight by itself. I have pit a new real on it but it's bit to big for what I'm going to us it for. Because I'm so impressed with the rod itself, I'm going to go all in and buy an ultra light rod for this same company. Now if the reel is as good as it looks I will buy another set up but just a shorter rod. We are big into crappie fishing and last year was the final demise of my all time favorite rod and it was time to upgrade. After much research and collaboration with my son in law we decided in this rod. The small eyelets are a huge plus for me. The complete ergonomics of the rod work perfectly for me. I am a disabled vet and have had multiple should surgeries and even with the heavier reel I didn't notice any fatigue holding it. This has really got to be one of the best fishing rod values I have seen on Amazon. I don't think for the money and quality your ever gonna do better than this KastKing Zephyr rod and more than likely the reel as well. As soon as I got the money i will get the reel ordered and I will review that as well.

The media could not be loaded.  If you have thought about getting the new KastKing Zephyr spinning rod, don't hesitate.This rod came packaged very well. It came in a cardboard tube, which was inside another cardboard box.It looks great and feels even better in the hand. I was able to get out and use it a bunch over the weekend, and I even caught a fish with it on the first cast! It handled the bend and fight of the fish very well. For a 2 piece rod, it didn't even flinch when fighting the fish in from the jettys we were fishing from.Top to bottom, this rod is very well made. The neon green looks awesome too.The only complaint I would even make is that I prefer the hook keeper to be open at one end so your hook can just slide under, as opposed to the u shape of this one, that is attached at both ends. Pretty small detail, tho.I highly recommend this rod to anyone looking to go a little lighter on the rod power, to take on bass, panfish, or whatever.

I think this is just as good as $80 plus dollar rods. Everything I've bought from kast king has been quality equipment. Highly recommend

Easy to cast and extremely light weight. Almost glows in low light.

This is a very nice light weight rod

The customer service is excellent. They replace my broken rod very fast. The problem is the rod itself. The replacement rod arrived with excellent packaging. As soon as I get the new replacement I tried to bend it as much as I can and then it broke. The brand new rod just went straight to the garbage. I won’t buy any Kastking brand. They are not reliable at all. I am very disappointed because I just wasted my money.
