Ordered to replace similar of different make. Easy to change and works perfectly so far

Opened the sealed box to find that the reducer and connection seals were missing 😔 . Amazon only give you the option to return the whole package 😳😳, luckily didn’t need the reducer so popped to B&Q for a couple of rubber washers.Combi boiler turned off, cold water turned off, replaced mixer bar in 15 minutes 😊 job done. Quality unit, shame about the lack of parts.

Brought this as a replacement. The temperature control is superb. Very good bar. The only niggle is the direction control off position doesn't give a strong click and is a bit vague. I gave it 5 stars as I would have only knock off a 10th of a star for that.

So I got this thermostatic shower mixer bar to replace an existing shower that has lost the ability to keep a stable temperature.All of the bits come in a plain box with an 'instruction manual' that is to say the least sparse. Alongside a drawing of the unit and some performance statistics, there is a drawing of another model and even a tap. No help in the slightest as to how it functions or how to install, which is fine if you've done this kind of thing before, but could be better.You don't get any of the shower attachments such as the overhead shower, riser rail, handset or hose etc but it has two outputs - a 3/4" top spout (with an included 3/4" to 1/2" adaptor) and a 1/2" bottom spout. The water connections are standard 1/2" connectors for a recommended 150mm distance (although it will support 135-165mm).The temperature knob has a safety stop at 38C and a push button override. It’s smooth to turn but doesn't feel like it has as much friction as I'd choose. The water flow knob seems to turn one way for one outlet and the other for the other outlet (I’m guessing) but only a cryptic picture on the knob helps you know which is which and the instructions make no mention of it.The whole unit is fairly slimline and contemporary looking and it feels OK as quality goes. It’s a chrome finish and has "Cold touch technology to insulate against thermal burns from the surface of the water valve."It all feels OK, but personally I'd like a bit more information to be included with it.
