TAMIYA 300035325 – 1: 35 WWII German Heavy Armoured Tank Elephant, Beige

Excellent model.Usual Tamiya quality and good fit. Not for beginners though, particularly if you get the Zimmerit sheet that Tamiya do as an extra. It's challenging but rewarding to build and looks great when finished. I'm delighted with it.

Just received leopard2 tank usually only build world war2 vehicles glad i bought this though kit looks amazing and well upto tamiyas usual standard recommend this kit to everyone

Tamiya quality - kit almost builds itself. Would be five starts if there was a metal barrel and some etch to improve detail. I've sourced Aber barrel and etch to upgrade my kit.

Tamiya kits keep getting better and better. This is a real beauty, and excellent value. You could retro build this to the original Ferdinand without much trouble too.

Impresionante, el mejor modelo a escala que he visto ultimamente. Aconsejo comprar aparte el set de calcas Zimmerit de tamiya y el cañon de aluminio de Aber, aunque no haga falta por la calidad excelente del modelo.

This kit is wonderful. Solid molding detail, perfect part fit, no flash, clear instructions and zero headaches. Note that the Tamiya zimmerit was purchased separately and the application process took almost as much time as the build itself. I had to do a lot of creative cutting & fixing to get the zimmerit to fit. Some areas were a bit "sloppy" which is frankly OK in my opinion because it ended up being unique with the imperfections. You will also need a bit of superglue to secure some areas of the zimmerit to the model prior to painting. This model is about 95% complete, as there are always additional touch ups to be done - namely more pin wash in certain areas along with some painting refinements to the figures. I'm so glad that I finally purchased this kit after thinking about it for years.
