I love these stencils! They're sturdy and so easy to use with fabric pens. I haven't quite got the hang of things with the arc and diagonal designs, but the dot grid and the horizontal/vertical template were so easy to use. The price was also great. I highly recommend this set to anyone getting started with sashiko embroidery.

I am VERY happy with these templates. I saw the review that said the templates were too thick, but I have not found that to be the case. Frixion pens work perfectly, as do mechanical pencils.I needed writing guidelines on parchment and the lines template worked wonderfully.Go ahead and try these! If you find that your preferred marking instrument won't work and you just can't bring yourself to try something new, I have never had a problem with returns to Amazon.

One template arrived cracked

I do Sashiko daily, and these are by far the best templates. The quality, sturdiness, all are great for sashiko grids- be sure to pull the film off like they describe. The heat erasable pens fit in them too. Love them!

These are amazing, convenient and durable!Some are complaining about the thickness making it difficult to use. Stabillo fine liners and nicpro mechanical drafting pencils fix that problem. I bought them to make my own dot graphs and guide lines for mandalas and zentangles.

These stencils are way too thick for most markers and the openings to narrow. Unless you have a long , thin pointed marker, it is very difficult to use these.

They work fine, just really thick and some pens have issues marking through them.
