Pyle 5.2 Channel Receiver
I love this receiver. My old DVD/sound system died and after reading plenty of reviews decided to give this Pyle 5.2 channel a try. My old Samsung speakers and sub hooked right up to it; the sound is amazing with absolutely no lag between video and sound. Lots of features to play with, easy to navigate remote. Definitely great for my needs.

The recever working
Blue up soon as I turned it on. Speakers worked for maybe a min and shut off. Now it won't even cut back on. I had it maybe an hour. Refund asap please

4.5 Stars Really
First - I have an entry- to mid-level set of 5.1 Polk Audio speakers that may have cost near $300. These are legit speakers - not part of a $299 home theater kit - but they are still not high-end speakers. And this receiver is an entry-level receiver, so the whole system together cost me under $500. That said, the sound is REALLY good. I watched Top Gun Maverick and Man of Steel on it, and the sound was awesome. The sound was pumped to the receiver via an optical cable from a very basic TLC 4k TV; I think the sound would've been comparable via the HDMI interface. I have a more expensive JVC receiver + Infinity speakers combo upstairs, and those speakers sound more crisp. Don't know how to explain it other than that. But this receiver and the Polk Audio speakers sound great. Most wouldn't notice a difference unless they listened to them side by side. Only one thing - this receiver only has bass and treble; it does not have an equalizer.

not enough power per channel
It is a good system, sound quality is good. Remote works great and everything works as planned it just doesn't have enough sound loudness compared to my Onkyo receiver that quit working. I have this system in my mancave in the garage so need a little more than a standard TV Room. It is plenty good for most the time but when have a big group over it just doesn't quite boom the sound I want.

Pretty basic
Guess you get what you pay for. Would barely drive our speakers, had to turn it up max volume, could hardly hear it. Returned.
