Gya Labs Ambrette Seed Essential Oil - 0.34 Fl Oz - for Hair, Skin, Diffuser, Aromatherapy & DIY Candle Making Scent

This scent has a wonderful fragrance. As a perfume maker, this makes a nice middle to base note blend. It is warm, sweet and slightly musky. I would love to buy a bigger bottle if they have it.

Smells like Vicks vapor rub with a little bit of musk. I'm not surprised though, I've seen 1/2oz of ambrette eo selling for $200+. Am disappointed though, because I want to create Sudanese inspired fragrances for myself, and musk is used in them.

I was about to return this essential oil, but I wait for the whole product to fade. It changes in 3 stages or steps , 1. Ambrette smell 2. Sandalwood strong smell 3. Musky smells that drives me crazy . I’ve tried a better one but it’s not on sell on Amazon anymore , it used to come in a blue bottle

Edit: they contacted me despite being out of the return window and made it right. Fantastic for a company in this day and age to stand behind their products. Kudos! Original: I don't know whether they mislabeled this ambrette or if they process it on equipment that hasn't been cleaned, but as far as I know, musk shouldn't smell like mild camphor mint. I'd have returned it if I'd opened it in the return window.

It's okay... it smells like Sandalwood instead of Ambrette. I do really like Sandalwood so I made a men's cologne out of this but then had to go buy ambrette seed oil from a supplier I used before that actually smells like musk.

Smells amazing Very little goes a long way.

Arrived already opened and seal broken 😠 Obviously it had been used before. The other oils have the seal in tact and wrapped in plastic.

Sweet smell, good for mixing with oil or diffuser
