I have a dog with a thick coat who was scratching himself raw. After trying to rule out if it was allegies, fleas, etc. I wondered if he was overheating and ran across an online discussion about mats that are cool, so decided to buy this one and another brand from Amazon....So far he likes this one. It is soft and cool to the touch. Even better, no more scratching till his sore and red. I just bought a 2nd one.

The dog has had these mats for more than 3 months and these mats really stay cool and hold up to multiple washing. Though I bought it in the summer and it is winter now, both the dog and cat like laying on the mats to cool off when the furnace is on. The mats lay on top of carpet and do not slip and slide. The cat occasionally bunches it up when playing. They are water resistant and do not get very wet when the wet dog lays on it. I like these so much, I bought 3.

4.5/5 My little old lady (15.5 year old maltipoo terrier) absolutely loved it the first two days. It truly was COOL to the touch. I was truly surprised. Currently experiencing a heatwave + humidity so she definitely needs to be kept cool. Unfortunately she isn’t able to walk to go potty so I’m washing it (hand wash/delicate mode cold water& air dry) everyday since she’s peeing on it daily (even with diapers on). Sadly it’s not that cool anymore like how it was brand new, it’s like maybe -1/-2 degree cooler than the play mat she rests on. I was even considering putting it in the fridge for 5 minutes to cool down longer but idk, maybe I’ll soak it in ice cold water for 15 minutes then air dry.. Overall: The mat itself is great. Very plush, soft & comfortable. Durable & slip resistant. I think maybe the constant washing is not the best though 😅

Husky approved! We have many dog beds and blankets but this is quickly become the Huskys favorite for its cool temperature. Nice weight, good size. Holding up to frequent pawing sessions.

These just work great for any dog/pet that run hot in the summer months especially. You can bring this out with you to the park and lay it on the grass or rest it on the couch or floor or bed at home for them to relax in cool comfort. Our senior dog loved these in the summer time and I noticed the cool feel that it retains throughout the day, even outdoors. Really a must for any pets that feel the heat during the hot days. Totally worth it for your little furry friends.

This is a thin cooling mat, not a fluffy or thick sleeping type pad. You can actually feel the cooling effect when you touch it. Our summer temps are often over 100 and while I use this indoors the dogs seem to enjoy having a “cool” place to rest after coming in from outside. It’s like walking into AC after walking around outside in the heat. It has so far wiped clean easily. We don’t allow the dogs to scratch on it so hopefully it will last and prove to be a durable item.

Works well to keep dog cooler in the hot days of Summer. I do wish it washed up better. I use a hand-held spot vac and let it dry in the shade. Even with that its never looked entirely clean again.

Unsere Hündin hat in Kroatien bei 35 Grad sehr oft auf der Matte gelegen. Und sie funktioniert wirklich. Auch dass man anhand der heller gewordenen Stellen sehen kann, wo diese erwärmt wurde. Ich würde sie wieder kaufen.

Amazing how fast this cools down. It took my labrador a while to get used to it, but after a couple of hot days he now loves it. Even preferring this in his crate over his favorite soft blankets. The fabric is a bit more work to clean than regular blankets. Just throwing it into the washing machine is not enough. Sand mud will stay in it. Putting washing soap on the mud spots and then throw into the machine does help.
