You've got 3 seconds to make some guy buy YOU over someone else. You do what you gotta do and say what you gotta say.So it isn't surprising that this book would be a string of half and or embellished truths as lying becomes a second language in this industry. Her main offense is that she is neither a good or compelling liar.My main beef about this book is that it does not sincerely cater to any one demographic.So like I wouldn't say "oh you have to read this book before you become a stripper".Or "I was once a stripper and her story was my story".Nothing of that sort.What is most wrong about this book is that it is filled with sort ofs -It's sort of funny.It's sort of emotional.It's sort of sad.It sort of rings true.It's sorta heart felt.It's sorta scary.It sorta describes the life of a stripper...There is no one concept that the author takes ownership of. So there's that.Now to be fair - Being a former teen stripper does not somehow induct you into a circle of naturally great authorship - and this is the era of self publishing after all - we can't win at both.Have you pulled yourself out of a life of sex drugs and rock and roll and written books about it? YESIf you like this girl and have nothing but time and money - sure read it.If you have any other combination of life circumstances - Amazon may have a few million other options you might also be interested in. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dark Fascinating Book *by T***R on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on October 20, 2013* I read this book in an hour or two today. It is fascinating. It starts off with Trish loving being a stripper for the first couple of days and slowly descending into the hell of the dark seedy world of the sex industry. This is the stuff you don't hear about when rappers are glamorizing strip clubs and you don't take away from Rihanna's Pour it Up video. I learned a lot from this book. Stripping is dangerous. It is amazing how quickly things can get really bad. One thing leads to another and there are rapes, murders, people are pounding on your door trying to kill you, you're barely alive in the hospital, you're hooked on drugs and your mind has gone from traumatized to emotionally numb--and you feel stuck. All these things take place in the book. It's scary stuff literally. Trish has gone through a lot of horrible stuff, which makes her decision to be the positive, life loving person she is all the more admirable. I'm so happy she's made it and is successful with youtube. This book is really good. It is fascinating hearing someone lay out the truth that was never meant to be read by anyone. It is sad and enlightening.
