I bought one of these to use in my chicken coop, as the summers here regularly get over 115° and the birds get so hot. I normally run a mister on the hose but wanted to try something different this year. These fans are PERFECT for the chicken coop! The battery lasts forever, all day, no problem. Easy to move around as needed, and no need to raise my water bill $50+ a month May-October every year running the hose constantly. The chickens love it. They stand in front of it to cool off and it does cool the air around it significantly. I ordered another one for the other coop, and am so happy with it I ordered two more so I can cool more of the area. If you’re looking for an easy way to cool your chicken coops during the stiflingly hot Arizona valley summers, this fan is well worth the investment. The fan can also be ran without the misting function and has a good air flow.

So far, this is a good quality fan. I have gotten a few of these of late as I realized they were better than some of the other smaller fans and are really versatile, being able to turn them or hang them, and they last a long time once charged. This one was the first one that came with instructions (not that I needed it), and it has a nice light on the top of it. You just turn a knob to turn it on and speed the air flow up. I did not receive a remote control as they say in the instructions, so I would not be expecting that, and none of the ones similar to it I have gotten had one, so not sure if this was an error in their description. I have not tested this to see how long it lasts, but I normally can run this type all night in a small window to pull cooler air in, so I am expecting this to do okay. It comes with a USB charging cord. This will be great to have on hand in case of hurricanes or other power outages this summer, and it will be great for camping trips.

UPDATE: Great Customer Service! The seller reached out to make things right with my purchase. I feel 100% confident in ordering from this seller again. Takes FOREVER to charge— charging for HOURS and still only at 30% — needed it to keep my chicken cool in her coop. Works for an hour and then needs charging — may be that the one I received just isn’t holding a charge.

This works very well. I have used it with just tap water, clean water from a creek, and added ice for more cooling. The battery allows it to work around camp while out dry camping in hot weather. It stores in its own 9 liter container. It makes a compact unit for storage too.
