I’ve already used and reviewed the single bottle of Vicks Sinex Micromist, and it’s one of the few nasal sprays that actually clears a blocked nose within seconds. The effect lasts for several hours, and it has a clean menthol and eucalyptus scent that feels refreshing rather than harsh. It works just as well for a cold as it does for hay fever, and the mist action gives a fine, even spray that coats properly inside the nose without stinging. I’ve also tried Vicks Sinex Soother, which has similar active ingredients, but this Micromist version seems to act a little faster. That’s probably down to the spray mechanism rather than the formula itself, as both contain oxymetazoline hydrochloride as the main ingredient. Either way, the Micromist gives reliable, quick relief, especially when you’re feeling completely bunged up and need instant results. The only reason I’m marking this 3-pack down to 4 stars is the price. You’d expect some sort of saving when buying in bulk, but when I compared the cost, it worked out exactly the same as buying three single bottles separately. That defeats the whole point of a multipack, especially when the individual bottles are often discounted. Still, it’s an excellent decongestant that does what it promises. I just wish the multipack offered better value.
