The 2 TB capacity gives me plenty of space for all my favorite games and more, without worrying about constantly deleting or moving files. Item is great, as described and easy to set up. Just had to go into PS5 settings and format it which was a matter of seconds. Yes, can take a while to copy games to and from the drive especially if they're 75gb - 100gb or more but not the worst problem in the world. For all those claiming it's not compatible with PS5 or that it can only install and run PS4 games from the storage drive, anyone buying or owning a PS5 should be well aware that if they want extra storage which can run PS5 games from storage then you need to be buying internal storage to mount inside your consoles expansion slot. Otherwise it's standard rule apply for PS4 versus PS5 software. Also, the packaging VERY clearly states both that it IS absolutely compatible with PS5 AND that PS5 games will need to be moved into console storage to play them. I cannot understand how anyone could find this external storage to be either incompatible with PS5 games or even complicated to use. It really is 'plug n' play' and in order to store anything on it you need to go through the menu system which prompts you to format it before you can use the storage. So there is nothing in the slightest difficult or that isn't clearly explained via packaging or console instructions and menus. This is a very, very good way to increase PS4 and / or PS5 storage capacity for a very good price. All from a very well-known, very reliable manufacturer of PC and gaming memory and storage drives.

Works for me, but you can’t play PS5 games stored in unless you transfer them back to PS5 memory, but you can play PS4 games that are stored in. Would be great if it would run the PS5 games too.

Easy to connect. Fast access. Great storage capacity. Does exactly what it should do. Can't fault it. Transferring files is pretty fast and seems to be at the limit of what you can expect through USB.

You can put ps5 games on it but you have to download them to your console first then copy them to the hard drive. Here's the kicker though, if you want to play them you have to copy them back to your console so it pretty much useless for using as extra storage for the ps5.

Works perfectly, easy set up, is compatible with the device, as promised. Will update if any flaws come up later on.
