Geeky Medics OSCE Revision Guide: Clinical Examination Paperback – 1 Jan. 2023

Excellent resource for medics, medical students and those working in advanced practice. It was a lifesaver when I did my advanced history taking and assessment module. I think it was one of the main reasons I passed my OSCE. Very clear and concise steps to the examinations with summary tables and QR codes to videos. The website is also excellent.Strongly recommended

As an educator who regularly conducts sessions on advancing physical assessment skills, I find this to be an invaluable resource that I consistently recommend to colleagues and students. However, I would like to point out a discrepancy between pages 44 and 45 that should be addressed in future editions. The table on page 44 indicates that the stoma site for a urostomy is located in the right iliac fossa, while the accompanying image on page 45 shows the site positioned on the left side. This inconsistency could potentially confuse readers and should be corrected to ensure accuracy.

I cannot praise this book highly enough. it is EXCELLENT. It has a very emphatic tone and very clearly states what you need to do to pass each OSCE station. It is a superb textbook written by those who are on the front line in healthcare.
