I wanted to use a different cable with my 64Audio IEMs and these little adapters worked perfectly.

I have multiple pairs of high end IEMs with MMCX connectors. I have Shure SE846 as well as AKG N5005. I have had Shure IEMs for years and over the years have acquired many different types of MMCX accessories. My favorite accessory is my Shure TW2 True Wireless Bluetooth adapter. It allows me pair my MMCX IEMs to multiple sources. After purchasing the AKG N5005 I realize that not all MMCX connectors are created equal. The MMCX connector in my beloved Shure TW2 adapters was too short to fit the MMCX connector on my AKGs. This started a search for an adapter to be able to make the AKGs work with the Shure cables and TW2 adapter. I tried several other adapters similar to these but the connection was loose or they felt cheap and didn't make a reliable connection. I found these and decided to give them a try. They were a bit more expensive that others but it turns out that they are well worth the extra cost. These snap into the AKG IEMs securely and the connection is solid. If there is a downside, it would be that they are pretty difficult to remove. That being said there really isn't a need to remove them. The AKG cables snap securely into these adapters and work perfectly with no loss in sound quality. As an added bonus the extra length these adapters add to the AKGs make the fit and comfort a little better than the OEM AKG cables. These are just what I have been looking for. Although I do not own Sennheiser wired IEMs, I understand that their MMCX connectors are similar to AKGs and are a bit deep/longer than the connectors on other manufacturers like Shure. Great value. Great looking (looks much more expensive than it is). I would highly recommend!

Been trying to get cable for my AKG IEM and the only one that fit were Effect Audio but the cables were stiff. Tried Tripowin cables they sort of work but kept getting audio cut off. These adapters fit perfectly with a solid click. They work with my mccx cables. They are a life saver.
