Withings ScanWatch Light - Hybrid Smart Watch, Heart Rate Monitoring, Fitness Tracker, Cycle Tracker, Sleep Monitoring

Have had a few smart watches, but found the constant need to charge them annoying and it was always hard to tell the time if I was outside on a bright day. Figured I'd give this hybrid watch a try instead. It's more of a classic watch design and when the screen is off it's hard to tell that it's a smart watch. The functionality is pretty basic, but it does everything I need it to. I also found the sleep tracking is more accurate than my previous watches. The Withings app is easy to use, and basic enough. It was easy to set it up on my android phone. The battery lasts a long time and charging it is very fast. I usually put it on the charger while I'm in the shower and it charges it up by about 15-20% in that time. And I only need to do that twice a week. The watch face is a good size overall, but I found the standard strap it comes with a bit thin and probably more suited to women's watches. Thankfully it uses a standard 18mm lug connection and it's easy to find a wider replacement. I replaced it with a braided strap and it makes for a nice casual men's watch.

The watch is very flawed. The sleep data keeps being inaccurate and I get cycling movement records + extremely high calorie burn records when blow drying my hair for 10 mins. This is my second Scanwatch, the first stopped charging after 9 months and was replaced through Amazon. The second is struggling with accurate data and (oddly) I get skin sensitivity on my wrist where the watch sits. Withings Customer Support non existent. Not a great investment, sadly because aesthetically it looks beautiful.

I bought this as I wanted a change from a different well known brand that also do phones. I chose this scanwatch because I can wear it as a fashion watch with the metal link band, but I can also wear it in the pool with the silicon band. I love the battery life. It lasts over a month. The steps and tracking have been exactly right without being intrusive. This is definitely more of a passive watch compared to the alternative, which is exactly what I wanted. Excellent value for money considering the amazing quality. Screen is very good whilst being discreet.

The watch is really well made and works like a dream, however it is very disappointing that the battery cannot be replaced. So within 18 months this watch will be thrown away. Very wasteful.

I got this for my missus to replace her old Fossil hybrid watch and she loves it. She doesn't want digital faces but rather have a normal watch face. She can use the dial to run through all the data on the small digital display, and the hands move out of the way while she's doing it. The app is easy to follow and there is enough basic information for her without having to subscribe for more detail. Good value and easy to charge with good battery life.

I’m not active enough to warrant an overly smart watch, I like a watch to look like a traditional analogue watch. The Withings watches have been my go to for the past 10 years now, and I love them, this one while a minor upgrade in their line is a big step up for me with a rechargeable battery but over 20+ days of charge is awesome. My sleep monitoring and breathing and heart rate checking is very useful for helping understand what my body is doing. All in really great watch

Elegant on the wrist. Looks good. Software sadly not as comprehensive as expected. LED screen on the small side.

Empiezo por lo malo y por lo que lo devolví: el alcance de bluetooth es "en la misma habitación". Así que si lo compras pensando que podrás enterarte de las llamadas o notificaciones tendiendo el móvil en la otra punta de la casa, no es tu reloj. Lo demás bien. Es precioso, y tiene las funciones básicas para lo que se pretende: control de salud, frecuencia cardiaca... etc.

Tolle Uhr, aber zwei kleine Schwächen Ich nutze die Withings ScanWatch Light nun seit etwa sechs Monaten und bin insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Die Uhr sieht hochwertig aus, ist angenehm zu tragen und erfüllt ihren Zweck zuverlässig. Allerdings sind mir zwei Dinge aufgefallen: 1️⃣ Falsche Aktivitätserkennung beim Motorradfahren Die Uhr zählt längere Motorradfahrten als sportliche Aktivitäten – bei mir wurden daraus einmal 410 km „zu Fuß“. Und das, obwohl die automatische Aktivitätserkennung deaktiviert ist. 💡 Vorschlag: Über GPS die Geschwindigkeit auswerten, um Motorradfahrten zu erkennen, oder unrealistische Trainingsmengen automatisch filtern. 2️⃣ Empfindliche Krone (Seitentaste) Durch längeres Drücken schaltet sich die Uhr aus und startet neu – das passiert mir oft beim Motorradfahren (durch Handschuhe) oder sogar im Schlaf. Danach sind die Zeiger manchmal leicht verschoben. 💡 Vorschlag: Eine Option, um diese Funktion in den Einstellungen zu deaktivieren, wäre super. Trotzdem: Eine klasse Uhr mit tollem Design und großem Potenzial – ich hoffe auf ein künftiges Software-Update!
