Westinghouse 7850500 Elite Indoor Ceiling Fan with Light, 48 Inch, Brushed Nickel

We have 2 of these, and love them. So many ceiling fans are just boring and have very ugly lights. I looked for days at many sites. For $500 or more I could have gotten a cool fan, but I just needed several inexpensive ones. Then I saw this one and bought one. We put it in and it was perfect. The lights can be aimed at specific areas - a picture, into a closet - and you can adjust them so they never shine into your eyes. We bought a second for another room. They are quiet, attractive, easy to install and this summer I don't need to install a window AC because I have this fabulous fan!

I was a little hesitant to pay so much for a ceiling fan but I'm glad that I purchased this one. We have ceiling fans in each room of our house and keep them running year-round. The installation of this fan as all of the parts and construction appear to be of very good quality and were impressive. There was no need for use of the installation instructions because I've installed so many over the years but the instructions did appear to be pretty standard and I'm sure would be clear enough for anyone to use and be satisfied with. The lights produce a considerable amount of heat but I understand that LED versions are available. The lights do look fantastic and light the room well. The lights offer a considerable amount of adjustment so they can be focused nearly anywhere you like. We installed this fan in our family "computer room" which is probably like most people's den or library and it does a great job of controlling the heat produced by everyone & their pc's. The extra bonus is how much the boys think it looks "cool". Happy Customer!

Beautiful fan, works great, except for the lights. The lights get very hot and do not last long. I would highly suggest just purchasing led lights that will fit this item. After one month , one light was already burnt out. With the led lights, they are not hot to the touch when repositioning the lights. Fan is great, quiet. Able to move lights in different directions. Had it come with led long lasting bulbs, I would have given it 5 stars

I was a little hesitant to order a ceiling fan online without being able to see it in person first. But I thought the design was cool and different (at least in the pictures) so I took the leap of faith and ordered it. I was very pleasantly surprised when it arrived. It is beautiful! The 3 blades (again me being a skeptic and not having faith it would work well) turned out to work better than any other ceiling fan in our house. The lights brighten up the room we hung it in tremendously. It has a look that can go with almost any decor. In fact we ended up purchasing a second one for another room in our house and are thinking about a third! It truly works fantastically. Living in Florida good ceiling fans are a must. I highly recommend this beautiful versatile fan for anyone who is looking to purchase one.

Mehhhhh.... LOOKS GREAT! Love the sleek style and the lights are nice and bright. I installed it on the 12' cathedral ceiling in my bedroom - I HAVE to have a fan on to sleep, it's all about the white noise and airflow, but this fan is a little too noisy - it has the motor whomp - whomp - whomp sound. The downrod supplied worked fine on the slope of the ceiling. Great airflow. Does NOT come with a remote! Major bummer and I know it's not listed in the description, but STILL..... Throw one in with the fan and bump the price another $30-40. Still a good price for a super stylish fan. I will have to buy one and install it - the lights really need a dimmer and I'm tired of hopping up on the bed to turn them off & on! ;)

I was looking for a fan that had a contemporary look with the track lights. I put one in my 16 year old daughter's room and my 8 year old son. They both love them. This fan is perfect. It is fairly quiet and has an expensive look to it. Not too difficult to assemble. My only complaints are the lights are very spot specific so you have to spread them out to illuminate the whole room and they are very bright. Second complaint is the limited color choices.

Great Product! very easy to install and the quality was surprisingly incredibly good. Seriously quiet. The dangles (pulls) are nicely decorative with a bulb imprint on one and a fan on the other. Customer server is outstanding. My bad - I had told them that it didn't have the correct number of mounting holes (yep, I had a brain fart as I had the unit upside down...) and they still replaced it without question or letting me know that I just qualified for Support Code ID 10 T.

YES, you can install with a flush mount! After I read all the reviews on this fan I was hesitant to purchase, however I loved the look of this fan. I'm thrilled with this product. Installation was easy and straight forward. I chose a flush mount due to my low 1950's ceiling and it is very solid, yet sleek. There is literally no wobble and the fan runs very quietly...even at the highest speed. Even though the lights are spotlight, they provide lots of bright light. It reminds me of a retro "The Jetsons" style in my 1950's bungalow. Perfect fit!
