The connection from the internet radio to the transmitter is via a simple RCA to 1/8" DIN cable. The transmitter unit is about the size of a small handheld walkie-talkie. Setup was easy, the manual is clear and well written, and I was up and running within 15 minutes of unpacking the transmitter. The hardest part was finding a frequency that was not in use and not close to an existing licensed broadcasting station on the FM band, this to minimize background noise and interference. For my location 90.5Mhz, so far, seems to work well. The unit transmits a good signal throughout our house, which is a multi-level design of about 2700sq ft and situated in a non-urban fairly suburban/rural geographical location (about 5 miles outside Madison WI). I placed the transmitter on the 3rd lowest level of the house which is below grade at the front of the house and at grade in the rear so that I could connect it to my high-end stereo gear in the family room. This means that I am transmitting from a location somewhat contrary to the suggested location provided in the manual, i.e. which is to transmit from as elevated a location as possible. Nevertheless, this transmitter sends a clear strong signal to all levels of the house. It's always gratifying to purchase a piece of technology that works correctly out of the box and reminds me of why I get a kick out of playing with audio equipment. Highly recommended. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent product that is great for broadcasting to multiple FM Headphones simultaneously *by G***R on January 2, 2019* I reordered this product after my first one was stolen. It is excellent and works as described. Combined with FM capable headphones, I and my wife use it to practice ballroom dancing in places (hotels etc.) where playing music out loud would be inappropriate. (I do not believe one can do the simultaneous broadcast this can do with ordinary blue tooth operation). I am hoping to have my instructor in the dance studio, where during simultaneous private lessons music not related to my lessons may be playing, also with a set of FM headphones and this device teach with specifically selected music from my iPhone and the voiceover capability (which works well when I have tested it) . The device can also be used for transmitting TV sound to radios in other rooms (like a kitchen next to the family room) although there are cheaper alternatives for that. My only dissatisfaction is that the directions are not particularly well written, but not so bad that I could not make things appropriately function by reading them, linked with a little trial and error effort. ### ⭐ Antenna thread too small for antenna mount on device. *by A***C on January 9, 2021* I am going to have to return this device. Obviously little or no quality control. The antenna will not mount. Why?
