My favorite soap!! So good!

Great soap!
I have very sensitive skin and the soap is about the only one that doesn’t cause irritation. It rinses off very easily and doesn’t leave residue. I have patients who use this in their hair and it helps their psoriasis..

You either love it or hate it
Okay, first of all, the smell, guys. You either love it or hate it. I have yet to decide. Imagine this, when first poured out it smells like soap, the rather older version, herbal-like and musky. I use this soap for washing my hair, dilute it with water 1:1, rinse it with diluted apple cider vinegar or lime juice (for people who cannot handle the apple cider vinegar smell, been there done that). It takes me around 3 to 5 pumps of soap to sud up my hair. I use it for body soap and face wash, too. The scent stays on my skin for quite some time. When used as body wash, it keeps my skin clean, soft, and non-drying. When used on my face, it was a little drying, though I did not have any allergic reaction to it. This helps me get rid of unnecessary items in the bathroom, and it's quite versatile. After the wash, my hair smells like ginseng. I love the it. It's earthy, musky and has a hint of sweetness. It's not very feminine, floral or fruity, so don't expect it to be.

Great replacement for body wash and expensive “eco-friendly” hand soaps
I stopped using body wash five or six years ago, switching to regular soap. I’ve never been a fan of bar soaps, especially for the body. I considered Dr. Bronner’s, but decided against it due to both the relatively high price and the viscosity. It is very thin and runny, which I don’t like in general, but also seems prone to waste. After some searching, I found this as an alternative. I had never heard of African black soap before, but it had good reviews and seemed to fit my needs. I have no idea if it could be used for other purposes, outside of face and body cleansing, but it serves that purpose very well. It feels very cleansing but it is not harsh, and it lasts for an incredibly long time. I used to go through a bottle of body wash in a month or less, plus regular purchases of “natural” hand soap brands such as meyers clean day. Unfortunately, I have not tracked how long one of these black soap bottles has lasted for me. As an estimate, a 32 ounce bottle of this, used for both face and hand soap, lasted probably 8 months +/-, for one person. Obviously a much better deal, not to mention much less wasteful, since I’m not throwing away a plastic bottles all the time. I have re-purchased several times, and I’m never going back to regular body wash.

Love
Love this product. Tried to switch to Castille soap to reduce more touching but it dries out my skin. Dr woods allows my skin to keep more moisture and leaves me with soft buttery skin.

Smells great, prevents rashes
I have been using this soap for many years. I only used it sometimes when I started, now it is the only soap I use on my skin. It smells great, feels great and help prevent flacky dry skin. I take it on vacation and don't bother with other drying soaps now.

Good value, nice scent and soft skin.
I don't know if I'm allowed to mention a competing product here, so let's say there is another Dr. out there in a similiar bottle. The ingredients are simliar but Dr. Woods has fewer ingredients. It produced much less lather than I expected after using the other Dr.'s oil soaps, but I also felt my skin was softer and smoother after washing with Dr. Woods. I think both Dr.'s have an excellent product, but for the slightly lower cost and what I percieve as softer skin, I prefer Dr. Woods.
