Mcbazel PlayStation 2 Controller to USB Adapter for PC or Playstation 3 Converter Cable for Sony DualShock PS2 PS3 Controllers (NOT compatible with Dancing Mat Guitar Hero)

Whammy and tilt worked straight out of the box for my GH SG Guitar with Clone Hero and YARG. Didn't need any drivers. Plugged it in and windows 11 did it's thing.

Works with clone hero + PS2 SG controller, make sure to adjust latency and enable tilt in settings. I decided to order a few different adapters on Amazon and try them. I even got sent a dodgy adapter that worked with no whammy or tilt that stopped working after a day. Unsure why and almost nearly giving up I tried the “mcbazel” which was the last to arrive. It has been listed on clone hero Wiki page as compatible for some and I can confirm that it fully works after simply plugging it in and going to clone hero , where the guitar is seen as “USBwirelessgamepad” . All inputs including Tilt AND Whammy functions are working ! 5* so hopefully ppl can see this and ignore most of the other adapters / methods that require drivers/joy2key or hidmini.

I bought 2, one wasnt responsive and the other had no dpad function even though i downloaded the drivers. Not returning them, because I want them to run out of stock for this rubbish item that doesn't work properly. What a waste of resources. companies like this should be ashamed of themselves.

Was initially hesitant based on other reviews, however works perfect for me! Using an old guitar hero 2 controller. Followed the driver download instructions, and off I went. Some tweaking of settings required within clone hero but works great. Only feature I cannot get to work is the whammy bar, but not a deal breaker for me.

Works well, does exactly what it’s supposed to. Works well with PS2 controllers and because I’ve seen lots of people asking; I have tested this with a Guitar Hero PS2 guitar controller and it works fine with Clone Hero. It’s quite a bulky lead too so not very likely to break :)

This adapter does work with Clone Hero. I'm using a PS2 SG Guitar Controller and I can confirm that the controller works, and so do the tilt and whammy functions. Latency is quite good too.

Installed driver and as soon as it detects the controller it keeps connecting and disconnecting Controller confirmed working on original hardware Will be sent back
