I have tried all- charlotte tilbury, morphe, all-nighter, toy factory, revolution (and other drugstore brands and those on Amazon) and this beats ALL of them. I can use in between makeup layers, as a finishing spray, spray on blender to set concealer/foundation and never had an issue with build up or creasing or settling into fine lines. Not sticky, leaves skin feeling soft yet still glowy (or rather “natural” or satin finish (despite the matte finish label). Great sized bottle that lasts while. Lasts me about 2 months but I use religiously and in between layers sometimes if glam look. Easy covers face and neck with minimal needed thanks to fine mist. No smell I’ve noticed and I’m sensitive to smell. I would recommend to everyone. Also…great over powder or setting powder- never disrupts and seems to melt right in. *for deference- I’m 41, sensitive skin with set wrinkles, fine lines, larger pores and occasional breakout with new products1 never had a problem. Also- I hate when setting spray disrupts hair- if I accidentally get some along hair line or my fine hair- never flattens or makes greasy. Long review….but so worth it!!

So I’ve always been skeptical that setting sprays really work, because in my experience there is always some transfer or smudging that happens. Also, a lot of the “staple” sprays like MAC tend to have strong fragrances that I can’t tolerate, especially with a coconut allergy. Fortunately it just seems that I wasn’t purchasing the correct setting sprays. This one is the best I’ve encountered in a while. I work in healthcare and due to various reasons, I legit have cried three different times over the course of 13+ hours today. Despite that, this setting sprays kept my makeup in place as well as can be expected if not more. (Picture and makeup is very mid, but I’m not a makeup guru and it’s late at night, so please cut me a break lol) I honestly wasn’t expecting much when I sprayed it at 10:15 AM before heading to the ICU for an event, but now at 12:06 AM, I’m realizing that my makeup really ain’t that looking bad despite an emotionally intense day. I recall dabbing at my face and eyes throughout the day and seeing some transfer on tissues, thinking that “oh, I’m probably wiping it away” but overall, now that I'm finally home and ready to wash my face after dinner and drinks, visiting family and friends, and errands, I’ve discovered the almost full beat has remained in place—even my eyeliner!!! For reference, I applied two rounds of spritzing in all quadrants of my face, not even waiting for it to dry in between. Then I fanned until it set, dry-ish to the touch. I like the fact that it took my matte foundation and concealer, which can tend to lean dry and cakey (since they are both matte finishes), to a more dewy and satiny finish for my otherwise oily skin. I use products to control shine, so this puts a good balance back onto my skin’s texture once it sets. And I can tell it has set because I can tap my skin and see little to no transfer on my fingertips. I can’t speak to the regular formula, but if you’re a sweaty and oily person like me, I would suggest the waterproof formula for better staying power. Just make sure to use a good cleanser (I can’t do oil based so I’m fine with double cleanse) to get all of it off before sleeping. Makeup wipes just don’t get everything, and I’ve made the mistake of thinking I got it all before passing out, but my white bath towel in the morning paid the price lol. She’s tenacious, so have a good cleansing routine in place to remove the waterproof magic!! All in all, I’ll definitely buy this again in the future considering the performance and value.

I really do like this! Was a little surprised cause I really like my Loreal setting spray. This is much finer than that. I still saw some makeup on my shirt collar though, so it's not entirely resistant to transfer. But I will definitely buy this again.

Great as an emulsifier spray to combine your powder products but it is NOT a setting spray. Do not attempt to use it as a setting spray or you will look like buttered popcorn. Wet. And oily. However, as a FIXING SPRAY, top tier. I like to use it in conjunction with my charlotte tilbury setting spray and the results are wondrous. Best part? Spray a lil fixing spray and you can go in w more products to fix your look or add to it with no issues depending on your makeup regiment. I do not use a lot of powders so going back in for touch ups or retouches is easy. The value is great and it should last you a couple of months. A month and a half maybe with consistent daily use.

I think… I bought into the hype a little bit too hard. Application is a fine mist, no smell. takes several sprays to cover the face and dries down to an invisible unfortunate nada. Doesn’t do much for the finish of your makeup at all. If there’s any difference, it might make your skin look shiny? Not in a great way. Doesn’t create a blurring or dewey or natural effect. No difference in skin finish. Your textured skin is all still there. Maybe that sounds obvious, but I was really hoping for a little bit of ‘wowza my glam laid down lovely and stayed there all night,’ but no. As per the claim that it is waterproof… Sigh…. One droplet of water on my nose dabbed off with the upmost care, and it was a fine farewell to that portion of my evenings effort into an etheric visage. i.e. One droplet of water on my nose and the whole nose just went bye-bye. not hot on a night out. At this price point I thought it might make my skin look a little bit nicer than it did. unless you have really young skin without any well earned fine lines and all you wear is some powder and a cream blush and mascara, and you’re going on like a splash pad in the summertime- it just doesn’t do what cheaper setting sprays can at half the cost.

This setting spray is a repeat purchase for me. I first tried the red one and I find that my skin prefers this pink version. It leaves it less greasy throughout the day. I spray it on after my daily makeup and let it air dry, which happens pretty fast. It is not sticky at all and the spray nozzle gives it a nice thin layer of mist. I think there is a barely discernible scent but not annoying and it goes away as soon as it dries. It doesn’t irritate my skin. It is effective at keeping my makeup in place all day through different types of weather conditions, even high humidity. For the price it is a great value. A bottle lasts me about 3 months of once daily use.
